It is interesting to read his feedback. This seller has received three negative feedbacks within the past month, and one of them says,

"Lying, frauding individual. 100% scam artist! Don't buy! Total waste of time!!!! "

Now, here is the retort from this matrix seller,

"Reply by electronic4cheap: IGNORE, did not pay insurance, item got broken & now wants his money back! "

If this sale was for a matrix link (which it probably was) then the seller's retort makes absolutely no sense.

Here is a really strange one. This buyer says,

"BUYERS BEWARE THIS IS A MATRIX LIST PYRAMID SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

Then, however, the buyer follows up with this negative feedback and adds,

"BUYERS I WAS WRONG!!! THIS SERVICE REALLY WORKS!! EXCELLENT P900!!FAST!! COURTEOUS"

The seller adds,

"He Did NOT mean to leave this feedback! please read his Follow-Up! Sorryabouthat "

Please find below a copy of an e-mail I received from ebay on the 10th of December 2003. This is in response to a question I asked them about links to matrix sites being offered for sale on ebay.

Since I received this e-mail I have found that over here in the UK, once reported these "questionable" auctions are removed very quickly indeed (within hours)

I was personally responsible for reporting and having removed every auction offering a matrix link in the PS2, gamecube and Xbox categories in the run up to and over the Christmas period. I found that once I had worked my through the large number already listed it was a relevantly easy task to detect them on a daily basis. I used various key words to search them out and then copied and pasted the listing number into word pad and then forward the whole list of numbers to ebay basically asking them to check them over as I believed they were offering nothing more than a link to a "MATRIX SYSTEM"

I entered this action after receiving a very abusive email from a matrix site owner, who more or less told me "so what! what do you think you can do about it" when I requested a refund on the grounds that it was very apparent I would never ever cycle despite the "guarantee" I received when I signed up and questioned the legality of the system he was using. Just for the record I joined this site in May of last year and was told the expected cycle length would be 2 to 3 WEEKS max!

(Has anyone else noticed how these "professional" owners of a perfectly "legal" enterprise quickly resort to abuse and intimidation in the form of having your entries removed from their "gift" list if you have the audacity to view concerns regarding their system)

==============================================

Hello XXXX,

We understand your concern. We are battling these nasty schemes day and
night, and as we end one it seems as though five others are listed in
its place. We are currently working with an investigative team here to
see if we can find a solution to this dilemma.

We do investigate every listing that is reported to us. However, since
we do not actively monitor our site for questionable or prohibited
items, we rely on our members to report them to us. Please note that,
even if a seller is not reported to us, it does not lessen the
seriousness of the violations for those sellers whose listings have been
reported and subsequently ended. Repeat offences of such violations can
result in the loss of ones eBay registered status.

If you come across a listing that seems questionable, we ask that you
report it to us via the form at the following page:

http://cgi3.ebay.co.uk/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ReportInfringing

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your
cooperation.

Best wishes,

Willy Smith

So there you have it! ebay do not want to be associated with these "nasty Schemes" and at the moment are relying on you, the general public to report to them any you come across listed on ebay.

If you look at the feedback for this seller, electronic4cheap, you find that there are sometimes multiple purchases of matrix links from the same buyer. There is obviously some shill bidding going on here.

The good news about finally catching up to a seller like this is that you can continue down the rabbit hole of member feedbacks and find a whole lot of shill bidders and phony auctions. The only purpose of these of course is to make the scammer *cough* seller appear more legitimate and established on eBay.

It catches up with them eventually though, and eBay takes the proper action. The more reports that are filed on sellers like this, the faster they are kicked off eBay.

May I ask why you have not reported it watchdog?

Not to play devils advocate, but I am having trouble figuring out why a website sale is on the "target list". I know it is/could be for a matrix site but they are not selling a link, they are selling an actual website that was made.

That's my two cents.

The only assumption I thought I was making was that if someone had already reported this auction it would of been removed.

Perhaps ebay.co.uk are more "on the ball" than ebay.com when it comes to removing anything connected to a matrix system.
