Also, someone just reported to me that these links lead to matrix auctions. I have not checked it out yet, so I don't know if this is true.

The top link was a matrix info auction , reported it.

The second one was in the everything else catagory. That's ok but if they use a brand name in the Title it is a Misleading auction and can be reported.

I did find a couple in this catagory and reported them already.

Later Pete....

Some times it takes a few days to be gone, depends on how much of a load they have. I did report it and it will get canceled.

Ebay says it takes 36 hours, sometimes it takes longer.

Pete.

218 sellers NARUed, got a few more on the last check.

Most of the ebay auctions I have seen are only misleading if somone chooses to bid on something without actually reading what they are buying.

Same goes with most of the matrix site people who are complaining. For some reason they choose to send $500.00 to someone with actually reading what the deal is.

Anyone who does that deserves to lose their money.

Ya but a Misleading auction is NOT allowed, I get them canceled all the time for this.

As soon as they use a product name it the title and are only selling info. it's Misleading !!

Classic...I was running an auction telling people the website and giving away the info and telling them it's a scam and that they shouldn't do it. Ebay went and cancelled my auction the same weekend that over 10 people all paid over $100 each, some paying as much as $275 just for the website!!

Good job ebay, way to police the wrong people. There were almost no auctions on there at the beginning of June and now they have 59 auctions running selling the clubs since they cancelled my auction.

I have thought of doing that same thing, but predicted exactly what you said would happen. The people running those adds our wise to the methods being used to cancel their auctions.

I don't think ebay really cared what you were trying to do, they probably just blanket check to see if the auction broke any of their rules.

I find it ironic that to make ebayer's aware of the scams you have to break the same rules that the scammers are breaking..if you want anyone to see your auction. :)

What 59 auctions ?? what seller ID ?
tell me and I'll get them !!!

You would do more good reporting them !! not running your own auctions.

Ha Ha That don't work either !!

Yahoo auctions have the same rules as ebay, I check them once a week. They are faster to cancel them, takes them only 1 day and they are gone..

Peter,

Here are the current Nike golf clubs auctions...

3614249034
3614410299
3614444386
3614167729

Type in Nike irons 45 to see them.

The list was 59 total this weekend, but a bunch of them were cancelled in the last few days.

I went into complete auctions and emailed all the winners that I could to let them know the truth and helped over 30 of them get refunds through paypal.

what I've been doing also is outbidding the unsuspecting people with my wifes ebay user ID...jcrew2000sucks. I've received 5 negative feedbacks so far, but left some as well. It really pisses the people off, but they don't learn after emailing them and then incur the fees as well.

I changed my username to that after jcrew2000@aol.com wouldn't remove his auctions, so I bid on all 10 of them.

I would be careful on doing things that way as most bidders have a non-paying bidder policy and could probably go after you for the money. I am not sure, but I think they can.

Just a word of caution, but I think peterdragin's way is the more appropriate way.

Peter - what does NARU stand for?

here's another one...I reported it, but this guy has been scamming for months, has a few negatives from people he's scammed and just keeps putting more up there.

3614703821

I'm not too worried about people trying to make me pay, they just leave negative feedback and would have a hard time arguing that they deserve money for the scam website address they were selling and fraudulently misrepresenting in their auction.
