Somebody is selling a F/A-18A Hornet on eBay for over $25 million. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3078059896&category=4672
Now, how much will eBay collect on fees for this one?

In the ad, it says that it was taken apart ONLY for transportation purposes. WHY? Isn't a plane transportation in itself? Why couldn't they transport it by flying it?
By the way, that jet matrix sounds good. We first need to put my name at the top of the list, and then we need to make it a cycle of 2 million at about $20 each. That should leave an extra $10 million which we can say is used for administrative costs like paying for a domain name. When people start complaining that they haven't recieved their jet yet, we can also say that the website was hacked, and that I got a splinter in my finger, so that the customers would be sympathetic, and we can run with the money.

But we also need a scapegoat to distract the customers from filing chargebacks and lawsuits.
Ooh, I know! We can tell them that there is this nasty website out there called MatrixWootch.org, and they keep saying all of these true *cough* BAD things about the matrix sites, which makes people want to not "invest" in them, and the pay companies end up freezing the money after they find out what the matrix sites do. We could tell our customers that we were really planning to refund all of their money dollar for dollar, but MatrixWootch ruined the opportunity for that by brining owners like us to justice, and having all the money frozen in an account where we can't touch it.. Only the courts can decide where the money goes now, and we know that they won't give it back to crooks *cough* I mean, honest businessmen like us.

Jay Leno mentioned this jet for sale during his monologue last night.

The opening bid has now been reduced by $23,000,000 to a measly $2,000,000!
May I suggest we call the proposed jet matrix www.upandaway.com
so we may reserve the right, as "honest & caring owners" to follow the honored tradition of 99.9% of matrice owners.............be up and away with all the money

...and since there is only one jet, there is only one winner from the matrix list. But, then again, that isn't that much different from how it is right now at the other sites.

psst! when I say matrix I really mean lottery, (but there is a silly law that says we couldn't call it that) and with this lottery the first ticket sold is guaranteed to be the winner!...............great eh?
What is more, if it was successful and sold all the tickets we could say we have another jet and start it all over again but, and this is the best part.......this time, the winner will be who ever has the 2nd ticket in the original lottery, once again guaranteed!!!
Tch. listen to me and my great money making idea, who on earth would buy into such a thing? everyone would just think, "Oh yeah, what's to stop them keeping the first two tickets for themselves" and would never purchase a ticket................... wouldn't they???

Good idea! You are right on the second point, the first two people are very likely to be owners himself or herself since they are guaranteed to win.
Your first point can be done BETTER. See, you don't start a new matrix by assigning 2nd winner to the 2nd ticket in the origional lottery. What matrix DOES in reality is that they DON'T bother about DEAD list. If you announced that you are awarding the second winner in a DEAD list, no one will buy extra tickets.
What owner does is to create a brand new list with ONE (first) winner again. Then the owner can make another round of big cash! That is how they scam money in reality. ..:)
