Do you really need to post multiple times about GotMatrix? I would consider that spamming the message board. But hey, it's up to WatchDog.

The site had a post on it for four days that it would be down and it was posted on the forum. Don't celebrate just yet. The site will be back once it's errors are fixed. Looks like GotMatrix isn't closed yet.

I have to agree with wetdog. What he did was not SPAM. We have had several conversations about what SPAM is. The matrix supporters don't seem to understand exactly what SPAM is.

SPAM is unsolicited email sent in BULK. A message on a forum is not necessarily SPAM, because a forum solicits opinions.

We have also heard from Greg of Gotmatrix claiming that the members of this forum are SPAMMING members of Gotmatrix's forum through PMs. Again, he is a matrix supporter/owner that does not understand the definition of SPAM. Since you cannot send BULK messages via a PM system, they were not SPAM either.

Nevertheless, even thought I don't consider it SPAM, I think it is quite annoying. Let this be a warning to you Wetdog, and others that may see this post. Please don't do this again. Place the message in the appropriate forum. If you feel it belongs in more than 1 forum, plase it in the one that makes the most sense. Most of us at this forum are smart enough to be able to comprehend a message the first time it is posted, and we don't need it more than once. Therefor, I have closed this thread and 2 others. I left the one that was started by Mikv open, because it was started because of another reason not quite related to this topic, but it still fits.
