I'm newb and had join gotmatrix without knowing what i purchased. And when i realize i won't get my "gift" within few years, it's too late i guess.
So, I would like to hear some advice and would like to know what can i do if the site is shut down. Are there anyway to "catch" Greg if he close his site and hide?

No, there is no way to catch him, unless he doesn't do a good job of hiding. If you paid by credit card, then you should talk to your bank and tell them that you think you were a victim of a scam. Call the authorities to report the scam. Don't let him get away with scamming you. You need to fight back.

I place the order for several month ago, will it work if i contact my credit card company? According to what i know, paypal will not accept complaint after 30 days of transaction. I wonder my credit card company will accept it since it's many month ago.
By the way, if greg hide we will not be able to catch him, then how do you guys catch the other matrix owner?
I thought there is a way to get information about the site owner through internet?

There are some ways of trying to find them, but they are extremely hard, and also, we don't really know if Greg is his real identity. Anyway, your credit card should protect you from fraud. In your case, it took several months to figure out that it was fraud. When you report it, just be honest. Your card should not have a timelimit on fraud cases. If they do, then maybe you shouldn't be doing business with them.

Nope, I had send many emails to greg asking for refund but he never reply. Plus I had registered an accout at gotmatrix forum and telling other members about that matrix site will soon be collapse always, but greg erase my posts. Will try to call up my bank asking for charge back on my credit card. Has anyone sucessfully get their refund from matrix website so far?

Many people have successfully received their money bank, and there have also been those who didn't receive any of their money back at all. Those who do end up getting their money back have been successful because they:
1. Acted quickly. Waiting only gives the scammer enough time to get away. And Greg IS a scammer!
2. United with other customers. Going after a matrix site/owner is much easier and much more effective if you have an army. More people at your side means more people to file complaints, more people to join a class-action lawsuit, and more people to gather facts.
I think that there are enough embittered GotMatrix customers here at MatrixWatch to make a difference, but they need to unite and start building momentum. Once the existing GotMatrix customers see that the veteran customers have moved on to get their money back (instead of waiting to cycle) they will likely join the effort as well.
I have seen a couple attempts at getting refunds, but the customers need to speak with one voice, and that voice needs to be one of ACTION instead of a bunch of angry posts on Greg's forum. He has already shown that he will not respond to complaints, but he will respond to action.
GotMatrix is still open for business, and that means that the customers still have the chance to get their money. If he closes up shop and runs away with the cash, then in my opinion, it is because the customers let him get away with it.
Act now, and act with a unified force.

I believe you have a lot of gotmatrix customers here at matrixwatch. As the owner of this website, would you unite us to go against gotmatrix (greg)? We don't know much as you do and we need someone to lead us to take down greg...

Hey asdffhjglj (I hope I spelled your name correctly!)
As a single person, you can probably do too little. A group of people might be able to do something. If you are serious, here is what you need to do.
1. You need to get people to know your doing something and have them help out. Start a webpage, and spam that webpage on forums that his custoemrs might go on. PM people you know are his customers. Maybe start your own thread here and get people to come to the thread and sign in saying they'll help.
2. You need to start a file on this guy. If anybody has a check for cycling, do they still have a copy of it that has his bank info and trancking infor? What about a return address, or the post office stamp for the city. That might be accurate, but I doubt he'd cross state lines to mail off a check. What accounts have people used to send him money? What address did they use to send him a money order? From there, I'd contact the post office to see if they will give you information on the address (I'm assuming its a PO Box) because of mail fraud. See if you can contact the pay processors to find information that way. See if you can call the bank to find out information that way. Maybe nothing will happen, but than my next step.
3. hire a private investigator. they do this for a living. The more information you get on this guy the better chance they'll find him, even if he is desperately trying to move.
4. Take that info to the local cops to investigate the matter and file a class action lawsuit.
You can do that all by yourself, I suppose. You will struggle knwoing the address money orders were sent. The PI might be costly, and the lawsuit might not be work it, but if you get 50 people together, it might just be a couple bucks per person.
So, if I were you, I'd start up your own thread tracking this guy, or start up your own webpage and advertise everywhere. Its not enough to get people just to notice it, but to get them to sign something stating they'll help. All the help you can get the better.
You really do need to act quickly though. The regulars that were once there are no longer it looks like.

It would be easier to just start a thread on this forum since so many customers are here already. We also have a rather sizeable team here as well.
