Is this a scan or not, most people think it is.

They are offering;

JUICE is 4 times quicker than broadband and 40 times faster than dial-up.
A blistering 2MB (2000kbps) connection for FREE, for life.
If you would like to give away JUICE broadband and earn either £27GBP, $48USD, $64AUSD, 39Euro or $74NZD per client.

http://www.juiceboosted.com/

Over the last week or two, ebay.uk has been flooded with free links to this site.
You can read all the opinions here;

http://www.broadbandreports.com/shownews/52121

and here;

If this is a scam, and right now it has all the signs of being one, it will beat anything we have ever seen.

What do you think ?

JUICE is 4 times quicker than broadband and 40 times faster than dial-up however, the best thing is it's totally FREE and available via any telephone line worldwide.

Compatible with old 9,600kbps modems upwards to the most modern
Guaranteed to provide a minimum of 2MB and that's SUPER FAST

1. FCC signal strength limitation. Due to FCC restrictions on signal strength in the U.S., you cannot achieve rates faster than 53Kbps.
2. Even if that was possible, your calling UK. How much of a phone bill will that be?

Ok, its 40x56k modem. So, if its compatable with slower 9600 modems while still offering the same speed, than its 6x40 or 240 times faster. Whats their answer to this?

State-of-the-art data compression, byte stream and ultimate data burst technology now guarantees every Internet user an unbelievable lightening connection speed of 2MB.

1. Data compression at 1/240? They don't need to give this away if it were true. I'd pay $100 for this technology if it were possible. Talk about revolutionizing the internet. Give it away? No. Bundle it up in some software, sell the software for a couple hundred bucks. Anybody who downloads will buy it.
2. byte stream? Ok, I don't know much about this. Could it work if the pages were coded with this? Maybe. So, they aren't. Here would be the steps I see. I want to go to a page. Instead of going to the page, I go to this site, they go to the page, they download the page, they encode it for byte stream, they send me the encoded page, I get the encoded page, I decode it, I see the page. Wow, lots of steps. But, the net doesnt' work that way. I want to go to computer Z. I first go to computer A. Not computer A. Than B, etc. I finally found the computer I want so it sends packets of information to me. The packets are reassembled on my computer, and I have the page. Do they want to byte stream packets? Sounds silly.
3. Data burst? Ok. If you take a shot glass and see how quickly you can poor a gallon of water into it, your not going to get a gallon of water. Maybe half a shot glass if it doesn't fall and break.

Going back, There is no magic pill to make the net faster. It is based on the quality of your hardware, your modem, the distance to your ISP, and the quality of their stuff. If this is so hot, than where are the news conferences proving their technology. Or is this just simply that .net movie where they came up with this technology, made millions of dollars producing it, and nothing ever happened?

It is recommended that you register for one of the 80 million FREE accounts before general release.

Wow. They can handle 80million users at once and people still think the connection will not crawl. Were you guys on AOL dialup ever? You know how many disconnects they had. And I don't think they ever had 80million users.

Anyone joining after the 80 million mark may be charged a monthly fee of £2.99 GBP.

I'm willing to pay $2USD a month after they prove themselves.

Here are their guarantees:

You will never see another dead, blank or irrelevant page ever again and if you do, we will pay you £500 GBP*.

So, ThingsUnderMyBedScareMe.commmmm will load up something or I'll get paid? Woo!

You will NOT get another spam email EVER, but if you do we will pay you £100 GBP* in compensation.

Spam email is unwanted email. So, if my brother emails me today and I'm having a bad day it will be considered spam to me. I'll be rich. Wait, we do get email right? Or can they make this promise without offering email?

You are guaranteed to get a minimum connection speed of 2MB with 100% uptime. If we fail to meet either or both we will pay you £500 GBP* per failure.

Even when I disconnect my modem? Cool!

YOU will NEVER receive a virus or worm in your email inbox again as we operate up to the millisecond software to stop the same, but if you do get one we will pay you £500 GBP* compensation.

Well, we've established that they don't offer email, so I guess thats true. They can operate up to the millisecond software but virii and worms are being created always and are usually undetectable for weeks by the professionals.

JUICE is able to block every porn and adult site on the Internet if you choose to filter it and if we fail you we will pay you £200 GBP* per reported instance. That's how confident JUICE is.

So, if I make a website with just pictures of my naked sister and go there about a billion times, will I get paid alot of money?

We can STOP your child from chatting to people who pretend to be children in chat rooms by using amazing breakthrough IP filtration and parenthesis technology.

How does that work? Every person a child talks to, do they travel to the persons house, ID them to make sure they aren't pretending to be a kid themselves?

Ok, thats just one page I wasted time on. But, after reading this...I wonder...what exactly is juice anyways? Does it ever really say? Is it an ISP? Is it a download manager? Its hard for somebody to claim broken promises when they never really make a promise. Sure there is alot of fluf, but nothing regarding the service itself.

Have you guys tried to navagate the site yet? It is so slow. They claim to have beta testers out there but they can't speed up their page.

JUICE gives surfers what they want. It is a perfect product that solves supply and demand.

what exactly?

Your job is to go and promote the service any way you know how and send people to this site to EARN a commission when they connect to our service

Wait, I get it. After 80million people give out their information, the software blows up. Now that there is no service there is no money to give out. Or, its a $10/minute phone call. Sure, if the people that number they'll give out money. Remember, the service is free. The phone call isn't.

Therefore, when you refer 10 affiliates into JUICE and they refer another 10 each who further refers 10 affiliates and each of them sign up 100 JUICE customers per month, then the income you could EARN is really phenomenal. Work it out for yourself! Your income would be over £200, 000 GBP a month from your own overrides and personal revenue. £200, 000 GBP

you mean like a pyramid?

JUICE is an innovator in the Internet’s business to consumer (b2c) industry offering an opportunity evolving from the needs of almost everyone on the Internet.

I got ya. You are harvesting contact information for businesses. Wait, I'm understanding now. The cd you send out that is just all the files in this business site your launching. Yeah it is 2mb/sec because you are just using the temporary files that you stored on the computer. And you know you won't have to pay anybody anything because nobody is going to pay the long distance phone call to connect to your business. What kind of products will you be selling? Cars? Boats? something really expensive so you can give out the commissions?

Juice is probably the only proven risk free opportunity on the Internet that offers such a HUGE virtually guaranteed income and success.

How has it been proven? What checks have you sent out? How come you don't ever come out and say what you are selling? What does b2c have to do with internet connection?

JUICE is a service of the SKBi Software Group of Companies.

Google that company and see if anything comes up besides juice scam

Ok, I'm not going to go thru this site anymore right now. They never really flat out say what they are about. But, here is my opinion.

1. Like any other money making site on the net, if, by a fluke, you are actually owed money, there is probably some fine print that you ignored and your account will be deleted and you get nothing.
2. It doesn't say its an ISP, so how can they make those promises, unless they install a bandwith monitor on your system that constantly says 2mb/sec.
3. It even admits to being b2c so all it seems to be doing is harvesting email addresses to sell to businesses.
4. If this really changes the face of the internet, you can subscribe for like $5 a month (ok, my original GBP USD conversions were off...oops). If I can download that much quicker, I'll be glad to pay for that service.
5. If you are like all the other fools and believe this, just wait until you see some kind of proof. A news conference showing it. If you find somebody who is beta testing it. Wait until it goes public.

Here is why you should stay away.
1. It says its faster than broadband. So, is it an ISP?
2. It says its b2c, so is it just collecting your info to sell to people?
3. It says its a business opportunity, so is it MLM?

It should focus on doing 1 thing, not 18. Is it a scam? Who knows. It never comes out and says what exactly it is.

Did you see the thread at Scam.com??? It is over 125 pages long, with 10 posts per page!! That is crazy.

I also noticed that Scam.com made the good decision of going with VBulletin 3 for their forums. That is a great move for them and it will pay off richly toward their efforts to release new and old information to the public.

:)
