Why do those matrix supporters "laugh at" us?
Does this imply that they laugh at those bunch of losers who give the money to the very small number of winners for free?

Many of the supporters view the matrix world in a different light.
1. They do not see a problem with running a matrix site or getting new people into the matrix.
2. Becuase they all have money at stake they become very emotional about the matrix, particularly if they are close to cycling.
3. There is a mob mentality with members within a matrix. So long as a certain number of people still believe and hype the matrix the rest will follow along, plus they don't want to risk agitating the matrix site owner and risk being removed from the list.
4. They think that the lawsuit will get thrown out.
As soon as enough people start thinking the opposite way you will see a reverse. Some of the same people will most likely even start bashing those that are still gambling on a matrix. Social science is a very interesting subject, and to see a real life senario it play out is even more so.
If the lawsuit is suscessful you will also see the reverse, but it will also be associated with a lot of anger towards us, even more so than there is now.

Arzel:
I will agree with your first point, that many matrix supporters see no problem with running a matrix or with recruiting people to join a matrix. I treat it as a form of gambling, and I don't gamble more than I can lose. I don't agree with those sites that "guarantee that you will cycle". Anyone that looks at the setup of a matrix will see that it's impossible. I went into matricies uninformed and lost the first $25 that I put into it. The site hasn't moved in months and I know I'll never see that money again. That's gambling.
As for point 2, I'd get just as emotional about anything that I had a significant amount of money into. If my car was damaged in a parking lot, and I was out money to fix it, I'd be more upset since it was out of my control. At least with a matrix, I know what I'm getting into (now).
I have to disagree that there is a mob mentality associated with matrix supporters. As with most groups, there appears to be a core group of people who are almost fanatical in their devotion to matricies, but you can find those in any forum. I found the owners of most sites to be quick to respond to questions, though I never asked for a refund.
Finally, I really don't know how the lawsuit will turn out. I don't want to comment just because haven't read the specifics of the suit. The suit will probably go ahead, since matricies are borderline legal, at best, but I don't like the idea of someone trying to protect me from myself. I'm an adult and accept the consequences of my actions. If I lose a few hundred dollars, then I feel like and idiot and walk away. If I come out ahead, I'm happy. I know the matrix system can't go on forever, and sites will eventually collapse, but I really have little sympathy for those that invested thousands into a system that had an offer too good to be true, offered over the internet. Read the fine print, there's always a catch.
Just my two cents.
