Wow. I think that I will invest in your site now. Especially since you responded so well to the arguments set forth in the lawsuits and on the "What is a Matrix?" page here on this website.
You have really addressed all of the problems of the matrix sites in your short notice, and I now think that you are the best matrix site to send my hard-earned money to.
Obvious sarcasm.

The problem with the matrix scheme in general is not what you offer people in return to "get in line", it is the mathematics behind the scheme. Tell me how long your lines are and how many people are signed up on those lines, and I will tell you what percentage of your customers will never get their "free gift". If you truely don't want to scam anyone, you need to start refunding customers ASAP.

I am going to admit that our testimonials were at one time fake. This was absolutely necessary to achieve our current status.
Jason, no offense, but the above quote from you alone makes me despise matrix sites and their operators/creators even more than I already do. The entire "business" is all based on falsities(sp?) and lies. And who profits? You and you alone.
This site helped me and a few others single-handedly shut down a matrix scam a few weeks ago in the UK. Why? Because people are finally becoming wise that matrix sites, such as yours, are scams and need to be shut down.

There is no way he could refund his customers. It would be WAY too much money for him to put out. When it's time to close, he will end up just closing shop. Trust me, I use to be a matrix owner and I use to be big on the matrix scheme.
2 years is a long time to go for running a site! Usually the sites fall apart at about 1 year and typically get no more sales. I'm still surprised matrix sites are trying to go and operate.
Honestly, I think some of your FAQs are dumb. You admit to lying about testimonials, but now that all are true. I mean which company confesses to lies they did in the past. I don't see big corporations going around admitting to their big mistakes. If you want more customers you should take that off of there. I would NEVER invest into a matrix site knowing that the owner has lied before and will most likely lie again. Doesn't matter anyways, I learned my lessons and will never operate or invest in a matrix site again.

He may tell you how many are in line, but I wouldn't beleive it. Most of these scam sites just use fake names or transpant names from other sites into their lines to make it look good and give any potential sucker...er I mean "customer" confidence that they are legitemate and that they actually have a chance.

Our matrix lines generally take two months to cycle.
How do you figure? This number is nearly impossible because cycle-time grows exponentially. Your number of signups have to then grow expenentially for the cycle-time to remain linear!
Give us your line lengths as I asked if you are so confident in your site.

Hey guys,
This will be my last post. I think you guys have been brainwashing me for awhile now. I see how it really is. Now I question the motives of watchdog and the rest of these folks here.
I am impressed by false testimonals. I think lying is essential to just about any startup business. In fact, if I probably wouldn't convert myself if they were truthful.
Also, I appreciate the fact that they are not selling anything! Wait, they are selling something. Let me check out their terms and conditions real quick.
1.How Does this work?
You first must buy the product, then you will be placed in the matrix cycle for FREE. Once the required amount of people sign up for the matrix, the person at the top will receive their item.
See, I'm buying the product! I think how this works now is forgot putting my name on the matrix list and just give me the product, thank you.
I think watchdog you and yoru forum is full of garbage. You led me to believe that this might possibly be illegial. Did you bother to read their FAQ?
3.Is this illegal?
NO, this is not illegal because we are giving you ebooks and emails for signing up at the matrix lists. As long as you are receiving an item, it is perfectly legal. This program is 100% legal.
See, not only am I buying a product, I'm getting a free spot in the matrix, and I'm also buying ebooks! I'm buying lots and lots of stuff!
Besides, i can wiat my time:
.How Long will this take?
Usually matrices take anywhere from 1-7 months depending on the matrix, BUT this is TOTALLY dependant on YOU! The more people you attract to the site, the faster you matrix line will go! Click the promote like to see how you can make it go faster!
See, only 7 months max! And thats if I don't promote!
Plus, they do have a killer refund policy!
8.What is your refund policy?
Refunds may only be given out for 48 hours.
Just make sure they can issue you a refund within 48 hours of requesting. So, when your at the end of a 2 year long list, and you wait for a year, ask for a refund, and call them every 5 minutes for 48 hours until they process it!
Greg is in the FAQ having bought 3 spots so you know it must be legit. Where is Ashu? Maybe he didn't buy into this site.
But, I do like the fact that I can cycle upto 1/3 the number of spots I bought. So, using their own example, I can buy 3 $100 spots for a $400 gift, so that maybe in 10 years (2 years the site has been open with a cycle of 5) I can earn $100! Woo!
You can go ahead and delete my account here now. I have no intention of returning to a forum like that that will tell me the truth. False testimonals work in the real world, so I MIGHT consider staying a member here iif you can show my YOUR fake testimonals!
WEll, I'm off to Matrix-Sites.net to vote for them. And you say matrix sites are bad? Geez man! They were confirmed by the Matrix Agency! who could ask for anything more?

I think you're showing the nature of how matrix site operators work, by misleading people in the way you say things.
Our matrix lines generally take two months to cycle.
Generally? Well, that gives you an excuse to tell people when they don't cycle. If the above statement is true that you're cycling people in two months, you must have an incredible amount of signups (especially when your cycle lists are 10-20 people long). I find that very difficult to believe.
Matrix Paradise will be handed off to a trusted person. It will not simply die, the company will be passed on.
How do customers know that it gets handed to a trusted person? Why would you get out of the business if you are receiving new signups to the rate of hundreds a month (according to your claim that cycle time is 'generally' 2 months.
Our Matrix Site now has the best customer support of any matrix site.
Says who? I can say that my website is the fastest on the internet, but the reputation stands in what customers think, not what you think. Apparently, since people posted here that you were dishonest with them, and you admit that you lied on the testimonials, where is the credibility?

Let me do some quick math for you though.
Your site has been open for 2 years. If a cycle length is 5, than in order for me to cycle, assuming you have the same turnout for the past 2 years, it will take 10 years, irregardless of how many people are on the list.
If i'm the very first preson on the list, than I can expect the rate to be 1 person in 2 years. If I'm the millionth person on the list, I can expect one million people every 2 years will sign up.

Ok. Cycle of 5. 2 months to cycle. That means you got to be recruiting 2.5x per month and you'll be set.
Last 6 months.
Month:
1 - 1 Person.
2 - 3 People
3 - 8 people
4 - 20 people
5 - 50 people
6 - 125 people
So, Now that i'm in month 7 you think your going to sincerly get 300 people? Imagine if you have 5 people month one.

Those statistics are inaccurate due to several factors. You are only cycled once if you purchase 3 times on a 5 line matrix. There are other reasons too, but I'm not going to waste my time.

I just logged back in and I see that MatrixParadise's posts have been deleted due to "disrespect".
I am confused by what he means. Does "disrespect" mean asking questions or challenging the claims he was making. I'm sorry... I must have misunderstood my college professors when they called that "dialogue". This matrix owner basically just came here and admitted that he was lying to his customers off the bat by posting false testimonials. We call him on it, and then he goes back and deletes all of the posts.
He also said that he is using PayPal again and that they accept the fact that he is running a matrix site. Please!
Wasn't matrixparadise/egcircuit listed in one of the lawsuits?

I would like to know the latest and greatest news on Matrix Paradise. Since they were verified, they were always of interest to me when arguing with Matrix Agency about their lame attempt at legitimizing matrix sites.
If we can get enough recaps, then we can keep this thread alive. It will show new customers that matrix owners will run and hide anytime a legitimate question is asked. In fact, if I remember correctly, this owner disabled his entire forum because people were asking legitimate questions. Talk about deception and hiding from the truth.

All of the posts are still here, except for the one's you deleted. I see no "flaming" unless you are referring to the flaming lies you told your customers when they first signed up for your matrix scam.
Here is a quick recap of Matrix Paradise's brilliant idea to come here:
In the first post of this entire thread, he posted that he found out about MatrixWatch.org while doing a google search on his site. As if he never heard of us before, right?
He wanted to reconcile what he thought were fabrications about his site, and he numbered them. I think that a few of them were:
1. Matrix Paradise is Closed
He said that MP, formally egcircuit.net, is still alive and kicking after two years. I don't know why he brags about this though. The smart thing to do if you are a scammer would be to move on to some other scam that has not received bad publicity from most news organizations. Oh well... To each his own.
2. Matrix Paradise had fake testimonials
He wrote "True, but now false", and then admitted to starting off the site with bad testimonials because "he had to in order to bring in business". But now, he claimed that the testimonials are real since he has some actual customers now. This, of course, generated some good discussion on how matrix scammers operate and how they pick up new victims by telling lies, only later to reason that the ends justify the means..
Classic scammer mentality.
What if this clown were selling cars or houses?
"Well, we used to tell our customers that the cars/houses were perfectly fine, but hey, we needed customers. Now that we have more business we no longer need to lie."
Would this be okay? Of course not, but when the members here tell this to him he takes it as disrespect. What a fruitcake!
3. Matrix Paradise has a frozen PayPal account
He said that the account was frozen because they were selling "worthless ebooks", but now their account has been reinstated.
I highly doubt that it is the same account, and it is likely that his old money is still frozen.
Oh yeah, I'm sure that paypal is okay with your little scam matrix site.

November 8th, 2004, 08:24 PM
It looks like MatrixParadise is now selling some sort of ladder script (http://www.egcircuit.net/cubecart/view_doc.php?view_doc=8), and then placing their customers on the matrix for "free".
I wonder if he is selling links on ebay? If he is then the chances are that the auctions will be down in the next day or so.
He thinks that by selling scripts instead of eBooks he is now lawsuit-proof. What? Has he even read the lawsuits?
I just cannot wrap my head around something... Why don't these people read the lawsuits? They are very clearly worded and there isn't too much legal jargon at all. We provide them here in PDF format so that everyone read it. Very plainly it spells out what is going on, and why it is illegal to sell anything and require the payment for entry into a matrix. It is so clear and so plain that a child can understand.
However, this matrix owner and many others just keep on doing what they are doing, and then acting as if changing their product will somehow protect them from lawsuits. It is pure idiocy, and I am baffled by it.

He couldn't find any good reasons to rebut the arguments (just like all the other pro matrix people) so he deleted them and pretended they didn't exist. What does disrespect have to do with deleting posts? It is just an excuse.

I think watchdog summed it up best:
1. MP has been around for 2 years. Has no intention of scamming people. Will never shut down except a lawsuit. But they are preventing a lawsuit by not selling ebooks, afterall who wants ebooks? MP never did mention what they were selling, but according to their FAQ its not illegial because they are selling ebooks.
2. Faked testimonals are important for this business to get customers. At least he has the guts to admit his lies instead of Bush. Of course ne never did go into what he meant there, but well, we don't care to hear his lame thought out reasoning anyways.
3. He found this site by using google to search for MP and scam. I guess he knows that its really a scam.
Thats all I can remember. This is classic. He will stand by his side and claim that his site is NOT a scam, but then he does a google search to find out about how people percieve his site as being a scam.
When you run a pyramid scheme, do you expect people in this country with "Freedom of Speach" to just lie down and not say anything about your scam? It is amazing to me that this guy would even try to claim that his pyramid scheme is not a scam because he sold something that he can create for free by hitting the copy button on his computer.

You knew this would happen when you posted here. If you thought there was a human being in here (whatever you mean by that) then why did you delete your posts after 1 person makes a post you don't like. Don't you realize that there are over 1500 members at this site? You only let 3 of them read your post, and then you delete it. What about the other 1497 members that you thought would recieve your comments? Did you just think they were nobodys?
Why do you have to ask anyone to delete this topic? Are you affraid your potential customers would find this thread and then not get scammed by you? What do you have to hide? I can answer that. You don't want your future victims (oops I mean customers) to see how unprofessional you really are.

Huh? Is this a question or are you making a statement. I don't think 20 tracking numbers would help anything. What you have to prove is exactly how everyone on your site will get a gift. They are promised gifts for a certain price, and you cannot deliver that. Just because you have sent 20 gifts, and you have 500 customers actually helps prove our side of the argument, such as what about the other 480 people. Where are their gifts?

To stop any rumors starting up now, the numbers "20", "480", and "500" are not correct. Just random numbers.
Why don't you provide the actual numbers then, and then prove to us with math how everyone will get their gifts. When you say they will come in time just tells us that you have no better answer because you know it is a scam. How else do you expect everyone to get their gifts.
Let me start off by asking you a few questions. (these numbers are made up so that you can see how you will never be able to deliver.)
If there are 100 people on your lines with a cycle of 10, then how will all 100 people get their gifts?
1000 people will have to pay for the first 100 people to get their gifts.
Then 10000 more will be needed to help the 1000.
100000 needed for number 10000
1 million needed for # 100000
10 million for # 1 million
100 million for # 10 million
1 billion for number 100 million
10 billion for number 1 billion. (OOPS THERE AREN'T THAT MANY PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD)
So, how will you pay number 10 billion if there are no other people around? You WON'T. THAT IS WHY IT IS A SCAM!!!

Awesome alien! I know a tiny bit of php, but I probobly wouldn't be able to make a whole script which would be worth going to for a thing like a movie viewer..
I CAN however find you some of the best flash movies out there :) I used to have a site called BoredAtSchool which had a wholleee lot of movies.. but that got deleted because it was basically just a personal site for me and my friends.. i moved :(
We still have some of the movies up, they are at http://www.egcircuit.net/bas
Alot of those are games you have here, but i'm looking forward to playing here because of the awesome v3arcade script and all its marvel :) (i am also crazy about this design)

I think I found his date of birth all right. I say keep this thread open. So when people type in matrixparadise they can see how much of a scam it is, they can see the childish actions of the owner and know to stay away.
MP did a wonderful job promoting his site here today. Thanks!

I have politely asked the owner to remove this topic and I guess he is refusing. So that shows you how great this site is in the first place.
I just logged on, received your message, and responded. Actually, I thought of moving the topic before you even sent me the message and I offered the suggestion in this very thread. It seems that the members here want to carry on the discussion. Everyone has the priviledge to speak their mind, including you.
If you believe that some of the claims that the members here have made are untrue or false, then consider this your opportunity to redeem your reputation and the reputation of your matrix site.
I'll forewarn you though. The people here know and understand both sides of the issue. Many of them are former owners and customers, and they have done a tremendous amount of research. In fact, I'll bet that they know just as much about your site as you do. They are THAT thorough.
I'll offer you a suggestion also. Many matrix owners have come here and spoke their mind, and their arguments and points are taken very seriously and weighed. Questions are asked and new facts are brought up and strengthened with evidence. When the evidence and facts end up refuting the claims of the matrix owner they usually begin to whine and cry about how they are being attacked or "flamed". In 99.9% of the cases where this happens, the matrix owner/supporter is using it as a smoke screen to dodge the issues being brought. The members and guests here can see right through this trick, and they will call you on it
Just speak the truth, and if you see a false claim then refute it and support your point with facts and evidence. This is your "business" that we are talking about here, and you should seek to protect its reputation. If anything malicious is done (posting personal information, threats, etc.) then our moderators will act accordingly. So far, I am having a hard time finding anything particularly evil.
The bottom line is: Respond to the claim, and don't just launch a complaint or attack against the person making the claim. The logic books call this argument fallacy an ad hominem meaning "against the person". It never gets at the heart of the issue, and it only degrades the credibility of the person making it.

Dreamer, it is unlikely that the DOB info on the PayPalSucks website is accurate. It is done by drop-down boxes and many members just type anything in.
You also do not need to post this information. It is a little threatening and uncalled for.
You brought up some facts from another public forum about him having a frozen paypal account, but he already admitted to this. He said that his account was frozen, but that now he has worked it out and is accepting paypal again.
Of course, to your credit you were not exactly able to cross-check this because MP deleted his first post and has since gone thorugh and deleted others. I think that he will have something to say in a little bit though. He is likely just a little upset.
Let's let him cool off...
And by the way, he IS the owner. We check these sorts of things out long before they become issues. We have had fake matrix owners post here before and we verify the account and contact the owner if needed. As much as we disagree with matrix owners, we still believe that MW should be a place where the owners can speak for themselves.
