Hello, Im 100% new to all of this. I remember about a year ago I was looking into buying into gotmatrix.com for a plasma tv....now seeing what has come out of it I'm quite glad I decided not to. I've also seen this, or get rich quick scams go down on eBay. I once bought into a "system" of free stuff, where all the guy did was give me a big email, and that was it. It was a website where I found wholesalers, emailed them using a formal letter asking for a free sample of one of their items so that my "electronics stores" would sell them if they were good. Then at the end of the letter, put my name, follow by "Agent of..." and then the company name. Sounded OK, since the guy said this was his company and he was giving permission. Luckily before I sent any emails out to companies, I did a lot of research and figured this had to be illegal. Finally I got into a deep discussion with this eBay seller and found out he actually bought this whole program, along with a fake company from another member of ebay. So at that time I pulled out and left it behind. I never did know what happened to that.
Anyway, thats about the closest I've ever come to these matrix things. I was basically just wondering are there or is there ever going to be a way for these kinds of things to work...where people invest and move up the list and receive an item cheap. Thank you.

We have debates on this in the past, and I suggest you make a search on the forum for related topics.
No, any get-rich-scheme based on pyramid/ponzi scheme will not work, and 95% of the scheme you found online are different variation of ponzi/pramid schemes. In fact, any investment that garantee more than 20% APR (annual return) is likely to be a scam. These pyramid scheme offer 750% to 5000% APR, which is simply IMPOSSIBLE in our current capitalist world.
Matrix, doubler, Ladder, HYIE, PIP and many others are all get-rich-fast pyramid/ponzi scheme, and none of them will work! It only works for the scammer (the owner) and their "collaborators" -- the early birds (or insiders) who benefit from the scam, and thus promote and protect the scam at all cost. These are the people who benefits, while 60-98% of the latecomer/newbies become pure donor/sponsor.
In sum, pyramid/ponzi schemes do not work as a legitimate business, but it works pretty well as a scam. :D
ADD: There are a lot of pro-pyramid/ponzi forum out there to support the scam. For example, go to moneymakergroup.com, you will find all the current pyramid/ponzi scheme, their owners, and their "collaborators" (or speculators) finding all sort of ways to get newbies to cycle them out of the scheme.
This pro-ponzi/pyramid forum are crucial in promoting and "legitimize" the scam. matrix-sites.net and top-matrix.com were two of the pro-matrix forums that successfully bring newbies (donor) into their patrons. It has become a standard formula to form "scam networks" that justify the existence of each other.
The scam forum support the scam, and vice versa. The pay processors are also part of the equation as well. So, online scam has becoming an INDUSTRY, with complex input-output systems. One day, when I have time, I will do an detail analysis of how the whole online pyramid scam INDUSTRY works. :)
