PayPal Froze accounts back then too

This links to a thread on the matrix-news.net forum where you can read about PayPal freezing accounts. If you hunt through that site, you can find other complaints about it as well. I am posting this because our site is being blamed for the PayPal shutdowns on many matrix sites. The fact is that it was the structure of the matrix sites that got them in trouble with PayPal in the first place. This trouble happened long before Matrix Watch came around.

Um....Your site is responsible. From your own members comments on here attest to that. Further no complaint suggest that your site started the PayPal freezing, just that your group is responsible for the recent PayPal freezing.....

Good for us, if the matrices were legal and allowed by paypal, they wouldn't freeze the money. They are just protecting themselves and the buyers by freezing the money until all refunds are paid out.

It's a wonder anything functions in this world with paypal ripping off all these legitimate businesses.

Actually PayPal does not only freeze Matrix sites money. They will freeze anyones money if they think they can get away with it. I know most people will attest that PayPal is a reputable company, but did you know that they are also being sued for freezing peoples accounts and taking money from their bank accounts. And this is from a legitimate business.....

The coming weeks will reveal how PayPal responds to matrix sites, just like Ginix had to make their decision of how to respond. PayPal was added to the lawsuit on Monday.
