Gotmatrix Threads

OK I gotta post something here. There are too many different threads on the same topic here. I would like to see the mods close and combine into maybe 2 threads. I think people would be better served this way.

Feel free to offer your thoughts on which should be combined or closed. To play the devil's advocate. If similar threads are grouped into one thread then it may become several pages long, and that can be just as frustrating.

Our solution to the problem of different conversations was to create sub-forums devoted to a specific topic, in this case GotMatrix. I think that 20 or 30 threads are not a big problem if they are in one sub-forum. If those multiple threads were to be spread out in the General Discussion area then it would be a huge problem!

How come GotMatrix is shown to be the number one matrix site at All-Matrix? Was supposedly updated this morning? Seems strange that people would vote it number one if it is shut down.

It was ranked high for the last year and a half, and thus the ratings stick. Unless some other site out-rates it, it will stay at the top.

In other words, jsut because no new votes are coming in, doesn't mean that the rank will drop.
