Since most of the discussion here is about the bad side of investing I wanted to start a positive topic on investing. What types of investments has everyone else made that are working well for them. By investments I mean "real" investments no matrix, hyip's, doublers etc...

A VanGuard Index fund is pretty solid. The Vanguard 500 especially. Low fees, no hassle, and solid long-term growth. Plus, it has outperformed over 60% of the mutual funds out ther over the past 15 years.

I like the Vanguard 500, I have alot of my work investments allocated to that for my retirement.
