SoCal Weather. How about yours?

Anyone here from Southern California? The weather has been bad lately, but it looks like it will warm up to the high 70's and low 80's by this weekend.

For those outside SoCal, I'm very sorry.. :cool:

Californians can be kind of odd when it comes to the weather. We tend to only want our usual 85 degrees and light breezes every day of the year. When there is rain or higher winds than usual then all of the news stations report on it as if it were the end of the world.

Oh yeah, and the ground tends to shake buildings and houses down once in a while.

What is the weather like where you are?

Yesterday it snowed in New England. Followed by rain, which turned to ice.

Today it is supposed to be in the 50s though...

Almost 70 yesterday and no clouds or wind. Today lower 60's and partly cloudy. But we are used to this in Nashville, last year in January it was sunny mid to lower 70's at the beginning of the week then by wed night it was snowing.

i was in socal up until thanksgiving, and I can say central cali is not much better. Its been raining for the past couple of days (I'm told that this is unusual), and unusually cold (maybe 40-50 degrees F) I was also told that the winters here hasn't been so cold in the past few years. At least I can finally wear my overcoat which I wasn't able to do in socal.

I didn't think it rained in southern california?

Reason I thought this is because I heard an interesting comment while watching NFL highlights the other day, they said that there was a rare rain storm in San Diego during the Chargers game, they gave me the impression that it didn't happen much?

it rains literally about once or twice a year...a few months back we got a decent downpoar, bout other than that, nothing...

In Jersey, Channel Islands it was overcast 50f, in Manchester, England it was overcast 50f. It was a lovely day at 31,000ft.
