It looks like ematrix usa might be next on your list. The site hasn't been updated in over a week, e mails have gone unanswered, and I know from this site that GINIX has frozen the funds.

So what do we do now? Do we have to wait for an official notice of closure before we start trying to wring our moneyout of GINIX, or should I start a dialog with them now to see what I'm up against?

Some people have expressed having problems getting refunds through Ginix. If we win the lawsuit then those who paid ematrixUSA through Ginix may be likely to receive restitution. This applies on a nationwide level, not just the state of California.

watchdog, i've see ur lawsuit is interesting...but whats the progress of it? when are u going to court and and estimated time that you/your lawyers are going to see the conclusion of it?

We should see more progress with the suit by the end of this month and we should definately see things progress further by the end of the summer. I am not aware of the "exact" date yet though.

What is going if you paid through ginix but they do not have your funds. How are they going to do this. I mean there had to be money withdrawn before the account got frozen. Is it going to be first come first serve or split up among the amount of people who apply for a refund?

Is there anyway to retract the gifts which are already sent to the lucky customers?

MysticX23
July 9th, 2003, 07:32 PM
interesting...but if you bought thru ginix, go email them over and over and u'll get ur refund from them...at least i did.

MysticX23
July 9th, 2003, 07:34 PM
btw, they updated today, but i checked the big lists and i don't think any of them moved...so if i were any of the customers from that site..i'd think that you should get ur money back asap. don't dream of that alienware anymore

poorme

Aleinware is up in smoke.
It is very pathetic for those who still try to sell thier slots to other instead of requesting the refund.

I wish Paypal were like Ginix which is intolerate on the repeat mails

Well I'm not real sure how I fit in to the whole GINIX scheme seeing as how I paid through paypal. Actually I'm not actually sure who GINIX is or how they fit into this at all. Were they like the matrix bank? Did ematrixusa and others hold accounts with them? Why wouldn't they do their own banking like any other business?

By the way, the EmatrixUSA site seems to be down suddenly. I was on this morning and the forum seemed to be full of nothing but grief. I guess it was time to cut and run.

In fact, the site seems to be down again since this morning, and I hear that the forum had been hacked. Now I must say I feel relieved as I got an answer from Ginix, telling me my credit card has been credited and I have been refunded

I'm pretty sure he used CardService International:
http://www.cardservice.com/
Has anyone contacted them about refunds yet? I'm pretty sure no funds were ever released from them, so the money should be available for refund.

I don't know what processor it was before, but as for how ...
I simply wrote to their customer support, telling them about the offer Ematrixusa had (buy the ebook, get in the list, etc) and that the gift was guaranteed (as writen in the FAQ), telling them about the situation (Jake not giving a damn anymore) and asked for a refund, that's all

Well I email who ever on that site and guess what this is the reply I got:

No no no, we are not shut down like you may think. Our host server has been
damage seriously by a group of hackers. You may have seen some of the early
signs of the site. Physic Phobia? Well please take a look at our host
server at www.createspace.net and you can read the news on the main page
about the problems. From the looks of it, it should be up soon.

Thanks!
Jake

I wonder what is the point hacking the matrix site?

How do I know if Jake was using GINIX or Card Services during April? I made my payment via Pay Request, which seems to advertise for many matrixes.

Card service was in service before 6 March.

Did you get refund from Card Service yet?

Operah

I didn't pay using card service, but with Ginix, which refunded me the day right after my request had been sent. I wish you good luck for your refund, though

I believe they hacked the whole ISP not just the matrix site. The matrix site was down because they hacked the servers that his site resides on.

Right before the alleged hacking incident the ematrixusa forum was getting pretty rough, people were levelling some pretty serious accusations (myself included), and threatening lawsuits. Since recovery the forum has not yet been reactivated. I wonder if it will be with all of the old postings or if those will be mysteriously lost.

amagic, I was one of the people that replied to your posts and told you not to give up on getting your money back. I know that I haven't been charged more than once, but I am going to send an email to GINIX asking for a refund tonight. I hope to hear from them Monday. I'll let you know.

40,000.00 will be issued Aug 20th from CSI.

If the fund is truly released, more people gonna get hurt.

Is there any way to let Card Service knows what is going on here?

Called CSI on payments today! All we got was voicemail, left numerous voicemails and hope to hear back from them tomorrow on the status. Just to warn everyone, we did receive about $3,000 in chargeback's through this account from various people who we can not mention.

This is post on the web. Congradulation to those who get refunds.

I think they will not release it but I am not sure they issue the refund or not? Anybody knows??????

I'm sure that they wont be issuing any refunds, but its good to see that Jake is trying to be honest about his money problems.
Has anyone actually gotten his "chargeback"? I've instructed my credit card company not to take any charges from ematrixusa, ginix, or CSI. They seem to know what's going on. I think this whole "chargeback scheme" is an empty threat to keep everyone else from jumping ship.

It looks like ematrixusa.com is now taking orders via Pay Request to keep their lists moving. Meanwhile, it seems like CSI did not release the $20,000 or so dollars to them either. Here is what they say on their site:

Their update from August 22nd does not inspire much more hope either:

8-22-03 Well as you may have all experienced and noticed, this past month and a little more was complete help. To start off Ginix froze funds, holding almost all the funds we collected on the site in the 2 batches that are being held. To top it off the server my site was on got severely hacked and brought down my site along with about 5,000 other sites. It's a lot different now when a matrix site is down because the first image people get is that we ran with their funds. To let everyone know, WE DID NOT RUN, we are still hear to serve and to get your electronics at 80% of retail price! Thing about being a matrix site and having a site that isn't functional doesn't help, because in that weeks time when the site was down we were overloaded with feedbacks. We will work this out and we would like to start a new advertising campaign so if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to let us know. We will solely collect PayRequest and Money Order by request. Thanks for everyone's time.
