Let's change the word "Matrix" to "Shelby Scheme" to honor Shelby who is the first founder and the father of the matrix like the "ponzi scheme" which is named after Ponzi who innovated such a wise crack.

I like "Matrix : the movies" not "Matrix : the ebook "

haha, that is funny. But wasn't it Damion and not Shelby who started Ezexpo?

Yeah... It was Damion who started EZexpo. However, he isn't even the "father" of the matrix concept. He says that he modeled it after another site. He says that he just added the aspect of "autocyling."
A noble thought... but it apparently did not work well in the long-run.:)

I believe the first electronic based matrix site was Tymglobal- which I think has closed down but the people who started Tymglobal are the ones who started and own StormPay now.. For those of you who dont know Tymglobal was a electronic matrix site that offered a $25 laptop and it took 70 to cycle. They also offered a desktop, $180 cash, rolexs, and the $5 dream. When their laptop matrix list collasped they had over 5000+ people on it. Im not sure the statistics for the other cycle lengths. Im not even for total sure when the site actually closed. I tried looking them up last month and it said page not found. I know they were still open back in march. I tried to find out what happened to them but no one seems to know.

Long Live The Matrix Community...

The last statement by TCB made the most sense. "LONG LIVE THE MATRIX COMMUNITY." The fact of the matter is, this method has been around longer than EZ or Tymglobal or any "Matrix" site period. This form of a pyramid has been around since back in the early 50's. They were running numbers and people were using this concept long before the first matrix site came up. Like I posted before, the whole "matrix concept" was stolen and refurbished into what you see today. Only certain things have changed. You used to "have" to bring someone in with you to get the "free gift". Now they say you don't but they are going back to that as most sites now urge their customers to bring more traffic for them. The computation method hasn't changed though. They still stack what they call a "straight line". The one big thing that has changed is the amount of time this version lasts compared to back in the day. Lists back in the day lasted for 3 1/2 years before it was shut down. Nowadays the average site lasts for a year or two but not nearly as long as before. Also the average matrix list operator back in the day didn't have to open 3-4 other "sites" (lists back then) to generate the big bucks. My point is that these lists have been around for alot longer than most people realize and the concept is getting more corrupt although it will never go away. The equation can be changed so many different ways, that it is impossible to think that it will. Although I am not an advocate of these sites, you have to come to terms that this concept will surface again and will continue to surface. It's only a matter of time before the "new wave" of matrix sites sprouts up.

What you said is correct mikv... however, I'm sure that everyone here knows that pyramid scams have been around forever. You did not "rock our world" with that information. And you are also correct is that the "straight line" is the exact same thing as a "pyramid." When worked out into simplest form on paper it will form the shape of the pyramid. People also need to realize that in a 50 person matrix... in the end... for every one winner... there will be about 50 losers (I'm not sure how many "autocycling would take out. If any at all). So for every 100 that have a good outcome... there are 5000 others who are basically screwed.;)

Well I wasn't trying to "rock anybody's world". I was only making a statement off of what was already said. But if that did make a difference to your world I'm glad I could do that for you.

why don't the matrix owners just team up and start their own pay processor and then they won't be shut down???

That is a nice idea. The community could use one of those.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but in order to be your own processor you would have to be an actual licensed business. I don't believe there are enough of those in the matrix community to do that.

Um, actually, there is a pay processor that was started to help out the Matrix Community. It was done by the company that makes some of the Matrix sites web design.....

Thays what tymglobal did, they are the ones that started Stormpay when paypal froze their account but they did it too late to save their site which collasped under its own wieght.

it depends on how you "work it out"...i can see where the straight line comes from, and the pryamid, but it could be different too..

i can put it in the form on paper that would save the most space...its call "straight line turned into a circle" or a "spiraling straight line matrix".

but you have to remember, that the product is sold, and its the FREE gift that is put under the straight line matrix. is that legal? i mean its free so do rules pertain to free gifts? i dunno.

its more complicated to do everything. y doesnt dell also build the chips instead of buying from intel to put into their computers? they probably can, but 1)the chips won't be as trustworthy as intel's 2)costs more money

You gave the wrong answer. Please check the equation.
The equation to describe the matrix characteristics is linear equation. It can not be altered to circle or spiral.
I am speaking about the real maths here.

lol..yea, that part i just made up. but does it apply to free stuff? if i have a garage sale and i want to give away EVERYTHING for free, but the condition is that i'm giving it away using a pryamid scheme, is that legal?
