Effective 07-08-03 ChoiceMatrix.com has closed and is no longer in operation.

Ginix has frozen our account due to a pending law suite customers who paid using a credit card should contact your credit card company and request a refund.

We are working on a refund plan and will be issuing refund once funds become available.

As far as I am concerned it's a fight to the finsh.

Here's the truth. I just checked the folder in Outlook as to when I reported the first of this type auction. The day was Feb. 28 2003. This was after I was almost stung by Ezexpo, luckly I got my money back. that's when I started to report the auctions I came across.

Back then I didn't keep a list of the sellers ID's, in March I started to keep detailed lists of sellers and how many times I report them. I now use this list to check on sellers to see if they are listing anymore auctions. After they either get kicked off Ebay or stop trying to list auctions of this type I move them to one of two other lists, NARUed List, or inactive sellers list. But I do check the Inactive list once in awhile just to keep them Honest.

This is how I know what it takes to get a seller kicked off ebay.

I didn't go looking for them but as I came across them I reported them, I didn't start to look for them hard till april. As the months went by there were less and less to report. 15 auctions reported july 9th that's all I found.

No lie as of 2 minutes ago there is 19,748 canceled auctions in the folder, and so far 264 users kicked off ebay and 6 more by other persons who just started doing some reporting. Just tonite I checked my user list and there was 4 new sellers kicked off.

This IS for Real, like it or not!!

I really think that you are wasting your time with the ebay auctions. I see them on there all the time and before most of them get shutdown they have 70 hits or so. You multiply that by however many auctions there on at any given time and that is alot of new people a day coming into the matrix community. Besides that I am sure you have noticed that most of the accounts are either brand new users or 0 feedback so they are bogus accounts anyway. Do you actually realize how little time it takes to set up a bogus account with ebay and have ads running and they do not kick you off the first time either. Combine that with more stealth wording and listing the auctions different and you are barely making a dent in my opinion. I have not seen a slow down in new sites or customer attraction since you have been doing this.

The 0 feedback is because they never SOLD any auctions, since very very few have the buy it now option listed, (it costs more for this feature) they NEVER sold any. You need to go back and look at the page counters ! 1 or 2 hits before they are canceled.

Tell the site owners that they have not seen a slowdown in signups since ebay has been almost shut down. They will disagree with you..

The thing that these new accounts that people make up just to sell matrix auctions is that when that seller ID gets kicked off ALL accounts under that person get kicked off. It takes me less time to report the auctions than it does for the seller to list them.

I am a site owner. No Slow down either and I still see an abundance of auctions with 70+ hits. There are some on there right now.

Another thing. The most damaging thing to sites is PayPal. That is the reason sites shutdown, not auction ending.

Just go and check the auctions ending today and count how many you see, I might miss a few but VERY VERY few.

once their auctions were going down, their sites stopped cycling...no matter though, they were getting so big that it was about a 6 year wait to cycle at the rate they were going.

Also, TCB, there is no way that any of us would have been able to post anywhere near the same things that you are posting here on matrix-sites or matrix-news. You are pretty much the most active person here, so there must be something that you have to give us credit for...listening to both sides of the opinion.

I dont know if you are reading the postings made by the sites that you refer to but both have pay processor problems. I would almost bet both of them have troubles with paypal. Now how did auctions shut them down?

ahh..y bother arguing with them. just let them do what they'd like cuz its a free country ya' kno...if they think it helps them, let them use their time to do that. personally for me, it'd be a realli big hassel and not worth my time.

and just wondering peterdragin, are you proud that you have "killed" a bunch of ebay auctions and accounts? cuz you know, thats not a great achievement that I personally would be astonished at. (no offense). i'm just saying cuz you seem to brag alot about being the top ebay dog watcher.

Well the pay Processor problems came about because the customers didn't get their "gift" because the lines were long and nobody was signing up on the lists, so they wanted refunds and then Paypal or whatever found that they were dealing with a Matrix site and shut down the funds. This is my slant on the matrix sites problem, and also daddy might have found out what kiddy did with his credit card and when to them to get his money back?

Just my slant on the problem. What ever as the pressure gets to the site owners more will fail in the next few months. They are starting to fail at a faster pace now, so we will see if yours is strong enough to take the heat?? Maybe it is maybe it isn't.

tcb has the right idea by keeping the cycles short, but I bet he has seen a slowdown in signups, might be because that there are over 250 sites running, and there is not enough bodies to fill lists,or because of the ebay shutdown.

Got to go for awhile, just found a few more auctions to cancel, I have 2 computers running one on Ebay and one here. beside it's lunch time here in the midwest, and i'm getting hungry.

This shows how smart and naive the matrix owners are. They don't want to come to the realization that what they are doing is at least unethical, not to mention illegal, but when the matrix owner can't spell the LAWSUIT, it really shows their lack of INTELIGENCE. This isn't a crack at everyone, but mostly at the CHOICEMATRIX folks. What is a LAW SUITE? Is it an expensive hotel room inside a courthouse, or maybe a large luxurious JAIL CELL that they are expecting to occupy soon.
