I have never heard of it, at least not for the specific reason that the site was a matrix. Their terms and conditions still state:

"Buyer beware - Stormpay assumes absolutely no responsibility for any purchases made through the Stormpay system. At any time you join an Income Opportunity or MLM program you are doing so at your own risk. We do not issue refunds if the product, service or program turns out to not be what you thought it was, or if they don't hold up to their promises. You should thoroughly investigate any opportunity before making the decision to join - if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. It should also be noted that voiding your credit card transaction you used to fund your StormPay account for any reason constitutes credit card fraud as well as violates many other laws, and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent allowable."

StormPay MLM Policies:
While StormPay does accept MLM and Income Opportunity vendors, you should note that joining any MLM or Income Opportunity is done at your own risk. There are many legitimate opportunities on the Internet and each one should be carefully investigated before making any decision to join. StormPay will not offer refunds for these or any other purchases. These matters should be taken up with the vendor.

It should also be noted that reversing the funding method used to fund your StormPay account is considered fraud and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowable by law, as well as your StormPay account will be terminated.

I have heard the same regarding StormPay freezing an account or two that were matrix sites, but it wasn't just for them being a matrix site. There were a few complaints before they decided to freeze. StormPay acknowledges that they understand the matrix concept and they have no problem with it as long as it is legal, and noone has proved otherwise. A friend of mine owned a matrix site and he wrote StormPay before he signed up to them and that is the answer they gave him. As far as I know they are still Matrix Friendly.

Yes this is true and they have the nerve to start promoting thier new site that isn't even out yet and that is a Pay-to-surf- autoprogram....

stormpaypro.com is an emulation of 12dp and sp's attempt to monopolize the autosurf industry both equals flat out greedyness....!!!!

Anyone who has their funds frozen like mine should contact the following:

ftc
bbb
eeoc.gov

etc,.

Stormpay is under investigation by an "outside authority" and has frozen the accounts of at least a dozen "autosurf" sites, saying they have broken the terms of their agreements.

At the same time, 12 Daily Pro has been "outed" on ABC4 in Utah:

ABC4 Utah (http://www.abc4.com/local_news/local_headlines/story.aspx?content_id=FAFC4B6E-CD07-47AB-80CC-27BDC4253EF0)

This has thrown the whole "autosurf" industry into panic.

All the major players, 12Daily Pro, DadnDaves, etc etc etc have had their accounts with Stormpay frozen, 12 Daily Pro is under investigation by the Attorneys General mentioned on the ABC4 link.

Rumours are flying thick and fast.

Talkgold.com has had to add an extra couple of folders to cope with the thousands of unhappy 12DP and Stormpay members

Stormpay has had this coming for a long time! They have aways been very sketchy. Surf around our forums and you'll find multiple discussions about them.

Yes, they have always been matrix friendly. Even tho matrix sites have not been specifically "proven otherwise" I think we all know they are scams 100%. Basically, StormPay has supported scams in the past. Maybe it is indeed catching up with them now?
