Okay, what if we bought the product...say a PlayStation 2 for $179.00 then we are given the chance to be placed in a Matrix for a (useless) eBook. LMAO. As if anyone would do this, my point is that people are NOT buying the eBooks, but the chance at the so-called "gift" for cheap. This equals SCAM!!!

well..i'm not sure this would "equal SCAM" just like that. I'm pretty sure that MOST, probably all, of the motivation to buy the ebook is to get the free gift. but this doesn't make it a scam. y? cuz 1)it legal so far 2)you should be able to sell anything you'd like 3)i'm not sure if this is true, but giving away gifts for free with purhcase is legal (cereal boxes give gifts away too).

but guess what? I bet that if you sold ps2's for any price (store price usually) and you offered them a chance to be put in a matrix for an ebook for free, i'd bet that they'd want that chance. why? cuz America loves free stuff. free this, free that, they want it. Not to mention, if you ever read a few ebooks, they are pretty good. try it. i was doubtful, but while ur bored at work, just read a few.

its just that buying ebooks for a chance at a ps2 is probably a more eye catching deal.
