I am from Canada and people that are operating a business without a license are at the risk of large fines from the government. I am just wondering if all these matrix scam sites are registered/licensed? Is there the same rules down in the states and UK as in Canada regarding business licenses? To start an e-business what is actually required as far as licenses go? I have yet to see any Canadian sites but would be interested in hearing anyones input on this matter. F

Thanks

As far as I know, most sites do not have business licenses. Does anyone know of any sites that do have licenses?

...and does anyone know how to report them to the feds for not having one? I'm sure that those hefty fines would deter many of these matrix scammers from operating any longer.

Unfortunately you can run a business in the States with just your social security number if you have zero employees, so this might not be a good reason to report them. If they have employees, they have to have a TIN or Tax ID Number issued by the IRS. I do know that some of these sites out there are asking for employees and wanting to pay them with "spots in the line" or probably just pay them with ebooks :).

Anyway, the question I have is if anyone knows of a site with an actual license.
