Peterdragin became a member on this forum a little over a month ago and his efforts have been outstanding! I see him as a partner in this campaign against the matrix sites. A campaign that we are winning. My role in the Matrix Watch offensive, besides running this site, is to make sure that the people's money is kept at bay until the lawsuits are decided upon. This way, at least a refund is there for many customers of the sites if the lawsuit favors our side. To do this I have filed numerous legal motions against large pay companies such as PayPal and Ginix. In spite of this however, the matrix sites were still gathering new customers. That is when Peterdragin came in and virtually eliminated the largest source of advertisement for the matrix sites: eBay. He has worked in cooperation with eBay to remove these auctions, and has also trained others to do the same. Not only have his efforts crippled the profits of the matrix sites, peterdragin has emerged as a formidable adversary to the site owners, and his actions, in combination with everyone else's at Matrix Watch, have caused several sites to close down and offer refunds. Peterdragin is one member that should be recognized today.

Yes, Peterdragon, needs recognition, though I'm not sure if it is good recognition. Most of the auctions he got cancelled were not Owner auctions but customers of matrix sites that were advertising on eBay. So in essence he hurt them and caused them to not cycle as fast as they would have, and possibly could cost them money by them not cycling at all. But we have already debated this issue, so I suppose that is pointless to mention again.

Also let me set another thing straight. EBAY is not the biggest advertising Matrix sites do. Period.......

Listen !!! I go after these Ebay auctions for one reason and one reason only!! These so called customers NEVER tell the truth in their auctions!!!! They try to scam people by lying on the REAL chances to get a so called "gift" .. They guarantee this, and guarantee that, when there is NO guarantee !! All they can see is the "GIFT" and will do anything to get it, and some site owners encourage this, they even have auction templates to download on their site.

There are Many owners that do the same, 10dlaptop's seller ID for example got canceled a long time ago, why ?? he was lying to everyone who read his auction !! This site IS a Bold faced Pyramid scheme, no question about that. He even shows a pyramid on his faq's

Let me state this again Ebay does NOT ALLOW these auctions in any way, shape or form !! So just keep listing them on Ebay and Yahoo auctions. ( Yahoo has the same rules as Ebay) and they will be reported and canceled as always untill the Matrix world is gone !!

If anybody wants the link to report Yahoo auctions let me know.
it's hard to find..

Here's another tidbit of information, I have many many friends on Ebay, people like me doing the same thing. It's not just the crew that is here at matrixwatch, it's Honest sellers that are getting sick of these auctions, alot even put a disclaimer in their auctions stating that they have a REAL product for sale not some Matrix scam. You would not belive how many of them report auctions everyday. The honest sellers on ebay reporting the auctions is well over 75 so far. With 80 to a hundred people looking and reporting these auctions you migh get a few past, but the few auctions that do get by won't support 250 plus matrix sites.

I see a few guys trying to start sites for link and banner sharing, so far the two I looked at have only 5 different sites listed, and they will not get many to go there because they want a fee to list the sites and nobody wants to pay for a banner on a website nobody will see.

The link sharing thing won't work either, if nobody goes to the sites how can anybody see the links ??

So as a final thought you keep listing them we'll keep reporting them. The End !!

Ok, let me clarify something, though I have numerous other times. It is not that eBay does not like Matrix sites. That has nothing to do with why they cancel the auctions. They do so because they do not want sales outside of ebay. In fact when I use to list on ebay, and they cancelled there auction, it was always because they do not allow sales outside of ebay. Reason being is that they want people to sell the high priced items on ebay, so they can get a bigger cut than if people just sell link for a small amount for the big ticket items. In other words it is all about money to ebay. Nothing more and nothing less. Period.

Also, if I wanted to I could list on ebay and you would never know it. And it would follow ebay rules and regulation and would not get cancelled, but I do not gain very many new people thru advertising on ebay. All I get is people who never read auctions. So that is one of the main reasons why I stopped listing on ebay. No one ever reads the auction. People are just bid happy, and when things don't go there way they want to throw a fit. Sort of like they do on Matrix sites. They don't read the terms on a site, and then throw a fit because of there careless behavior, and then good matrix owners have to pay price.

Of course I could go on and on, but really what is the point. Your right, I'm wrong, and there is really no point for the debate. I do agree with you though that some customers who advertise on ebay do do it the wrong way, with their deceptive practices. But you can't say all of them do, and to punish all people just because of a few bad apples is not called justice, and goes against the principle of this site "The Fight For Justice" as it says underneath the title of this site.

Look at it this way these sellers list false claims in auctions for only one reason as I see it.

The whole idea behind a Matrix is flawed with long lists and the real chance of actually reciving a "gift" The sheer numbers it requires to get a "gift" if you are on a long list is almost a non existence thing.

This all falls back to the site owners who started this scheme, At the most only 10% ever though about this, all they saw was quick money without thinking of where it would lead.

If the site owners would have thought it out they would have seen long lists were doomed to fail, short lists 10 or less the site owners would not have gotten so much a bad reputation, and maybe be in a better position to survive.

One thing I would like to clarify is that by cancelling eBay auctions and shutting down matrix sites we are not "hurting customers". The reality is that these customers would likely never cycle, and they would be another face in the masses of people who wonder what to do when that site closes down later. Since class-action lawsuits have been filed, these people would receive restitution if the lawsuit is successful. Under California law, some pay companies will be responsible on a national level for 100% refunds. There is good reason to be optimistic that the lawsuits will win.

In most cases of internet scam, the scammers run off with the money and the customers see nothing. We caught the matrix sites just in time though, and gladly, these customers stand in good position to receive their money back.

hurting the customers...that's such a joke excuse...

these so-called customers are just looking out for themselves...essentially, they are trying to cycle, which in turn will cause others to lose their money. By listing their auction site so they can cycle, they are gathering unsuspecting people in with false claims and then being able to profit off the buyers payment.

I also have to make a piont on this. Many of the auctions are ran by members- many as you claim do not even know what they are doing or getting into you.. So you are destroying their ebay accounts and many have no idea why. Remember you are supposed to be protecting the innocent victems of the matrix sites but instead you are hurting then even more.....

If you are really trying to help you should at least email the seller first and even see if they know what they are doing....

Guess what ,, I email 60 to 70% of them and tell them the Dogs found them, and they will be watched everyday for new auctions.

Ebay only allows so many emails a day with the ask seller a question feature. I use them all most everyday.

actually, I only went after the ones that were derogatory towards me...

over half of the ones that I emailed, pulled their auction when they realized the magnitude of what they were pulling people into.

The ones that sent me back four letter word responses were reported.

I say who cares? Ignorance is no excuse if it harms other people. If it is going to cause financial harm... then it must be stopped immediately at whatever cost... Besides... the seller should get a hint after their first aution gets cancelled. If one of my auctions were ever cancelled... I would investigate to find out why, and then correct any mistake.

What is wrong with EBAY wanting to make money. All you guys continue to say that when people go to a matrix site and get scammed, they should have read the TOS, but when you get hurt because EBAY won't allow you to list an auction that is deceiving, you fail to realize that you too forgot to read the EBAY TOS. EBAY has every right to deny these auctions for any reason. In this case, it is because you are simply breaking the rules. It doesn't matter how relevent the rules are to the matrix concept. By the way, how do you know what EBAY thinks about matrix sites. Did you talk to them? I guarantee you one thing, EBAY might have their opinions about them, but they won't tell anybody what they think about them. They wouldn't want to loose customers because their opinions aren't agreed to by everyone that uses their site. They would be smart to avoid making a statement concerning their opinions.

What about the other percentage? Thats quite a high number you dont contact and the ones you do email do they even understand what you mean when you tell them the dogs are watching them?

If I got some email saying the dogs were watching me, i would probably think it was a prank or something and just delete it.....

Then your just as wrong as your so called morally corrupt site owners.

This site is supposedly to protect the ignorant, innocent people from the matrix sites, in which you claim they have no idea what they are getting into or even doing. They dont know they are "harming" other people. I dont see how they are harming other people but thats a different story.......
You say the seller should get the hint after the first auction is cancelled, LOL what a joke.. Ebay is not very clear at all as to why they cancell you auctions. Usually they say it is for keyword spamming, incorrect catagory, or inappropriate title. They think its just a minor listing voilation so they change their description, title, catagory because thats what Ebay said was wrong. They dont know they have people hunting them for a different reason... So many do try to correct their mistakes and ot just doesnt do any good and by the time they do figure out the real reason why they have probably been kicked off. So there you go hurting someone yourself that your supposed to be helping.....

peterdragin

Well from the over 280 people that I have gotten kicked off ebay have one thing in common, they ALL kept repeating the same auctions over and over, and this is what got them kicked off ebay.

Very few even tried to change the auctions so they would abide by the rules of ebay. ( there is no rule that will allow them to list them anyway )

A small percentage of the people email back to find out what they did wrong to get their auctions canceled, MOST just come back with an array of swear words and saying that there is nothing wrong with the auctions, and they will keep listing them. Well these guys get the ax real fast, it's called NARUed !! You do know what that is don't you hotmama2 / hotmommy / uwantme.

The dragin adressed this before... I believe he only spends a couple hours a day. Already retired and not even fifty... likes riding dune buggy's or something. The Dragin shuts down many a site... and the rest that remain simply just drag-on.:D

Most days it's less than an hour.

Since I sold my companys and sort of retired, I just do a little consulting work now and then. Spend most weekends at my beach house and enjoying the sun and playing with my sandrails.

Ya I do have a GOOD life.

coo coo..no offense meant. was just ASOUNDED by the number of auctions that you've look thru and canceled.

peterdragin

Well once you have the right places to look it's just going back to that search and looking at the Newly listed auctions, you find them fast. Then it's just opening notepad and copy and paste the numbers, the rule broken, and the seller id ( seller id is just for going back and checking if they got canceled ). When ever you find one auction you ALWAYS look at the sellers other auctions and there will always be more of different types in other categories.

I would tell you the places to look here but to many eyes around if you know what I mean. Let's just say it's real easy once you know what to look for.

I must admit that 4 months ago it took much longer because of the number of auctions, now there are not that many. But that kept me busy then, but I was laid up with knee surgery to repair damage from my old motorcycle racing days so I couldn't move to much anyway.

I have been seeing a new type of auction that is trying to get them by me but it hasn't worked. These guys STILL don't know the rules and break them without knowing it, it's real funny watching them try.
