The Mozilla Foundation has released version 1.0.2 of the popular FireFox web-browser. This update includes 2 major and 1 minor security fix and users are urged to update as soon as they can. You can get the updated version HERE. (http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=affiliates&id=35055&t=47)

Its interesting to note that Mozilla Foundation releases patches to Firefox as soon as a potential security vulnerability is identified. This is always before a known exploit exists for that vulnerability. Many critics believe that turning out a security update is made much faster in the open source community.

Everyone,

Firefox is now up to Version 1.0.6, so make sure that you update ASAP. It only takes about 2 minutes to do so, and all of your tabs, bookmarks, and settings will remain the same.

To access the update, go to our homepage at MatrixWatch.org and click the firefox link in the center box. I just updated, and everything went smoothly.
