Hi All! I'm new here and new to this HYIP, Doublers, etc. My friend is trying to get me into this. What I've seem to read so far are people joining one of these programs, get scammed and lose their money, then only to join another one. Repeating the cycle. What I don't understand is why people do this? I was reading a post somewhere about why the math doesn't add up. It doesn't. Yet people do it anyways. If it was so easy to double our money, we'd all be rich and there wouldn't be a need for Wallstreet. In these programs, where does all the money come from? Do you fully understand the business every step of the way? What goes on with your money? How does your money double? (Or is it "We have our traders trade and magically we end up with 2.5 times the amount")

What I don't understand is why people do this?
The only reason I can think of why people do these types of things are because they are looking to get rich quick. The lure of making large amounts of money for a little effort is attractive to anyone (especially someone who is in financial distress already). This is the type of thing that the matrix/doubler/HYIP (etc) owner counts on to make money and take advantage of people. I always see it that the person who needs to most help financially are usually the most willing to take a gamble (what do they have to lose, right?), and usually the normal thought process doesn't kick in until after the fact. This is why I can't stand matrix/HYIP/doubler,etc owners, because they KNOW they are taking advantage of people, but will NEVER admit it (until after the fact). The proof is all over this site in the attitude they give.
where does all the money come from?
Unfortunately most of the money comes from people further down on the list, the pyramid, the program, etc (whatever it is called). This is what makes all these schemes like a ponzi, basically you're stealing from peter to pay paul.

Its good that you see the way they operate, this is exactly what they want you to believe, that it just 'happens magically'. We all know that nothing comes for free in this world ....
