Ouch. It is interesting to see these schemes begin to topple. I can see the wave of impending disaster!

I think it will be interesting to see what the reasoning is behind closing this site, plus others like it (since i think you're right that they're running out of steam). I'm sure since they do such a fine job of hiding stuff in their terms and conditions, that it stated somewhere that its really a "limited time offer" ........ :rolleyes:

They did not last for very long, i wonder what the "implications and threats from third parties, " is all about, could it be the OFT or Trading Standards?.
There must be between 20 and 30 of these sites with uk based owners, i bet they are already thinking up the next scam.

I hear that "freepay" is actually the Gratis company in disguise ... (they're the ones who ran the old free ipod scheme).
Its sad that the free-gadgets.co.uk site now makes a direct referral for someone to get their gift ... (i removed the referral information so it doesn't get advertised here ... :D )
