I have noticed alot of "Mystery Gift Card" auctions on ebay lately as 1 day auctions. Most seem to use the EXACT same description by different sellers. Here are just 2 examples:

I dont think ebay should alow auctions that you dont know what you are getting. They should be required to state the cards value.

It indeed sounds scammy to me, especially when they can't get the store straight. This is the first one on sigx's list.
Okay, up for grabs is my annual gift card from my Family.
Each year they all put some cash together to get me a gift card to TARGET
I have NEVER received less than $200.00, The most I ever received was $2000.00
I have absolutely no idea how much is on this card, I have not checked! This is completely random, but my cards are typically between $400-$1500 !
I can assure that this card is LOADED. My family even made that extra effort to make sure I received it when they sent it to me last week. I do guarantee this card is loaded, and can be used at ANY Walmart you see!
The winner could get up to $2000 or maybe even more! I have absolutely no idea what is on this card!
If you have any questions, you can feel free to contact me.
I have never found a Target card that you can use at any Walmart. This must be a rare and valuable card.
