Just wanted to note that the Gotmatrix forum appears to have no "fearless leader" again. I put a few comments on there encouraging people to come here and join in on the complains and/or lawsuit. I have a chance of my message not being deleted since it doesn't look like Greg has posted in about a month. Looks like he is getting good at the "no response" deal. He didn't even respond to my last complaint thru the BBB when I called him on his intial lying response. I am so sick of him. I think it will be a great day when he is finally stopped. Anyway, just felt the need to vent about him for a moment. Anyone who has not yet filed complaints, Please do so. The authorities do not act on a few complaints, but are very likely to with a lot of complaints. We need to stop him from the continued scam he is running!

Gotmatrix is like a racehorse that broke its leg. It used to make people money, it was king during its reign, but when a racehorse breaks its leg, its useless and has to be put down. I dont see what good staying "open" does except puts Greg further in debt.

Is he actually taking in any money at this point in time? I thought everyone here was convinced he was through and the site was pronounced dead?

Sadly enough there are still "newbies" who happen upon the site and make a purchase- usually by money order since I have seen some posts made before about this. Some of the people do not even access or notice the forum before they purchase either and therefore know nothing of the comments made there. They may be few, but they do happen. And for every one that is at least another $10 stolen by Greg. :nono:

Why do you say that? Just because the site is still up, doesn't make what Greg is doing legal. There are things the customers can do to help themselves. Unfortunately, a lot of customers don't, maybe because participating in ponzi schemes is also illegal, but in the case of matrix sites, the owner tries to hide the fact that it is a ponzi/pyramid, and in fact states that they are not ponzi in the FAQ section. Because of that fact, the customers should not be ashamed to report the guy. I just don't know why they don't do anything about it, but we cannot help victims if they aren't willing to help themselves first.

Exactly. And we can't go around filing complaints against every matrix owner, and filing lawsuits against every processor. We can only help those who help themselves. For example, we connected several victims of other matrix sites to the lakeshore law center, and provided them with the resources they needed to get their money back. Those victims filed lawsuits, sent complaints, and kept us updated, and all of them have received some measure of restitution.
This was all happening when GotMatrix was cycling people, and accusing us of false statements regarding the future of the matrix model. We all saw who was right. Unfortunately, however, the gotmatrix customers did not act. Hopefully there is still time.
Before I filed against EzExpo, about a dozen lawyers told me that I didn't have a case and that they wouldn't take it. I kept trying, and I eventually found an attorney who would help. Thousands of people have benefitted from that persistence, and I hope that someone out there who was a victim of GotMatrix sees it the same way.

Well I don't know that I can accomplish anything directly against Gotmatrix but I did send my Paypal proof of payments to the attorney handling the EzExpo suit fo reference in the payment proccessor case. I can only hope it will bring some more attention to Gotmatrix.
