Well folks, I am posting this message to you from the "complaints" area of our forum here at Matrix Watch, because I would like to point out some interesting methods that the folks over at EzExpo have employed to discredit this site, and steer you away from the severity of this law suit.
Here is what they are trying tell you:
Don't join the class action, you will be counter sued
EzExpo has come onto this forum and sprayed this non-sense. I saved the pages, but deleted those antagonistic comments. This comment shows that they obviously doesn't understand the "private attorney general law" in California, nor do they understand what a "class action" or a "lottery" are.
This Law Suit is bogus, EzExpo does not run a lottery!
EzExpo clearly states that everyone is "guaranteed to win a prize IF they cycle." Notice the big "IF". This would be like saying you are guaranteed to win the Publisher's Clearing House IF you have the winning number. What makes it an illegal lottery is that "chance" governs whether you will cycle or not. They say it themselves on their site, and it is in the law suit.
Don't worry everybody, we will continue to send out your gifts.
Watch out. EzExpo MIGHT be making promises it can't keep about shipping if the billing services keep them held up. Where's the proof that they can ship and will not be dependant upon new victims buying in. The old saying calls it, "Robbing Peter to pay Paul".
Keeping people off the facts
If you ever took a logic course in high school or college you learned about the old argument fallacy, the "Ad Hominem", latin for "Against the Person". This is what Ez has used to strengthen their support base. They bring up personal things about me and seek to defame my character. The fact is that the things they bring up are things my lawyer already knows about. I have done nothing wrong. Nevertheless, they will continue this until the bitter end. Don't fall for it. They are only trying to keep you from paying attention to the facts of the law suit.
How you can get to the real issue here
Press EzExpo on this issue of the lottery. Read the lawsuit, and educate yourself. Whenever EzExpo starts making personal attacks against our side, bring them back to the issue. This is what wise people will do, they cut through all the bull. I see that this has already begun to occur on some of the threads here at the Matrix Watch forum. Keep up the good work!
