I have gotten a letter from the BBB saying that they will look into all aspects of the matrix buisness and have sent a letter to said owner of ematrixusa reguesting a writting response as to the complaint at hand. As I have also told them of the ezexpo lawsuit and the fight at hand. I wish us all good luck in this battle to find some justice.

If more people would complain to the B.B.B. and the Attorney Genral's office things will start to happen with Matrix sites as far as finding out the real truth if they are Legal or not.

how do i complain to the BBB? I have a matrix site i'm on, and they even told me I'd cycle in a few days...to no avail, months passed...their site lagged on working on it....then they said they were going to go all out advertising for it during the summer...which they didn't....how can i get them nailed for what they're doing?
Oh yeah, instead of selling e-books, they sell "fonts". The font i recieved was atrocious and could obviously be not worth how much I paid.
the site is www.majormatrix.com
they offered me a refund and stated they would send it to me "tomorrow" by money order from that email, but I knew they were lying because I paid through paypal and they did not know my mailing address as I did not include it with payment.
Please help. I know it's my fault for getting on a site, but I was dumb, plus I fell for false promises. I know their home address, phone # and even about which university they go to. But I don't know what to do. Please help if ya can. Thanks soooo much in advance! I'm an idiot, I know!:(

Here is the link to look up the B.B.B. in the state you want to complain in.
http://lookup.bbb.org/
If you don't know where the matrix site is located you can look up the owners by doing a whois searcn.
Just go to www.godaddy.com and type in the website name. It searches the data base and comes up with where the site is and who registered it. ( some times they have been know to put false info down. )

So let me get this straight. You want Watch Dog and his crew to help you because you even under your own admission made a mistake....
See that is what is wrong with this country. No one takes responsibilty for there own actions. They make a mistake, or try something, and it doesn't work out quite the way they hope then they want someone to help them out of their predicament.
Jesus Christ....am I the only one on here that sees the absurdity of it all.....
And yes I am still agravated over the ebay thing........

He is taking responsibility by taking action. He did not know that the site would be lying about the advertising push, or about cycling him out in a few days. He was probably not told about the processor freezes either. You are interfering with our mission to help those who are trapped in these lists, and your post is completely derrogatory toward this member's needs. Your use of the phrase "Jesus Christ" is inappropriate as well. You are hereby placed on a 4-month suspension from the Matrix-Watch forums.

I have looked at the terms and conditions on this website, and they contradict themselves there. They say that there will be absolutely NO REFUNDS per line 7 of their Terms page copied below.
7. It is to be understood by all that we are not selling a promotional item. You will earn a promotional item when your matrix is full and only when it is full. Due the type of material we are selling, there are absolutely NO REFUNDS on the purchase of the fonts. When you get your new promotional item, MajorMatrix.com is not responsible for repairs or upgrades to the system. It is up to you, the user, to register your new promotional item with the Manufacturer. MajorMatrix.com will not be held responsible for warranty work or support. If the promotional item is unavailable for your country due to shipping weight restrictions, shipping size restrictions, power/voltage conversions, etc. We reserve the right to send the USD cash value of the promotional item instead. Any money sent will be in United States Dollars and will be sent to your PayPal account or by money order.
Then they contradict themselves on line 21 by saying that you will get a refund if you don't cycle after 25 weeks. See that line below.
21. MajorMatrix.com created the "NEW CYCLE GUARANTEE" which promises a refund of the clients money if they have not cycled after a period of 25 weeks. This refund will be the money that MajorMatrix.com receives after the fees of our payment processors (PayPal, Electracash, and Payrequest) have been deducted. All buyers that paid MajorMatrix.com before April 20th, 2003 will receive this service as well. They will begin their 25 week period beginning on April 28th, 2003.
All that timerz168 is trying to get his refunds per his rights under their terms. Also, another point that I am trying to make.
IF THEY ARE SELLING FONTS ONLY, AND NOT THE SPOT IN THE MATRIX, WHY ARE THEY OFFERING A REFUND IF YOU DO NOT CYCLE WITHIN 25 WEEKS. SOUNDS LIKE THEY ARE SELLING THE SPOTS ON THE MATRIX.
As you can see TCB, the Terms allow for the refund, and that is all he is trying to get.
Way to go watchdog. Don't tolerate that kind of stuff from anybody. Some of these people don't know what they are getting into, and someone like TCB has to come in here and insult those people. I hope you continue to help these misguided people.

Let me make another comment about your comment. Let's say that someone was playing with matches and burned themselves. Then they told the doctor that they realize that they made a mistake, but they still need their help. I think the person who made a mistake would still expect to get some help, but according to you, the doctor should say:
Well, since you admit that you made a mistake, and you didn't read the warning label, I will not help you, and you will just die.
If that is how you think, I sure hope you are not a doctor.

thanks guys for the info, you guys are the best! As for TCB, I'm not blaming anyone but myself, it's just they made claims and promises to me that were not followed up. If they had even kept trying to advertise and actually try to get people onto their site, I would've been satisified. It's the point that I probably did more work advertising their site, then they did, that got me a lil upset.
Thanks again guys, I'm going to try to figure out how to get my money back. I know Paypal froze their account and the money is sitting there, it's too bad they aren't as helpful as Ginix since it's past the 30 day mark =C
Thanks again x 10000000000!

That was totally uncalled for.. Tcb rarely cause problems on this forum. I have been bashed, called names, and even threatened on this forum and I have reported the happening and the person doing it was merely told even though I "brought it on myself" to just behave..
This forum is very discriminating against people who dont follow the same views as you.. Its supposed to be an open place but I notice the members who support matrices are constantly open to more abuse and are very quickly thrown off for minor things while members who support matrixwatch could practically get away with murder.. I will send you many posts proving the inappropriate actions of your members where nothing was done to them.. If you want this place to be as fair and open minded as you claim it is then treat everyone the same.....

More anti-matrix members have been banned for inappropriate behavior than pro-matrix members. Some of the present members who support matrix watch were heavily repremanded for their tone in the first posts of their career here. They acted more professionally and continued. Others did not and were promptly dealt with.
This forum is an open place for opinions, but before that it is a tool to inform the matrix community and help those who need advice. Tcb1969a was constantly taunting and interjecting the members in the threads. MANY times his posts would distract the content of the thread and lead it WAY off course. This is frustrating for a forum admin who is trying to keep the archives organized. If you would like to start a new thread and share all the "... many posts proving the inappropriate actions of your members where nothing was done to them.." then you may, but it would probably will not be long before someone posts another thread on tcb's antics as well.
There are some more developments ahead and I do not want the aggrivation of unreasonable interruptions while we try to help people. That is our primary goal.

uwantme,
This is by far the most open forum regarding the matrix world. By your own admission you got the $10 Dollar Laptop forum closed to outsiders, and we were not even posting on that forum, just reading the treads.

I asked the admin to close the forum because of the many posts of members on here openly commenting on my posts and using the information of their board to help your own crusade.. I just dont feel as if anything I post or other members post on that board should be used by people who are purposely trying to shut them down or hurt their attempts at advertising. It doesnt matter you werent posting on the board but you were using the posts from the board for your own crusades which I dont always agree with, and when I say you I dont mean you arzel in particular but a few members of matrixwatch as a whole...
And as I stated before others must have agreed because it wasnt even 2 days after they closed their forums that matrix news or whatever its called also closed their forums to members only and I never even contacted them, in fact I wasnt even a member of their site...

Other forums are free to do what they will, and under the circumstances I can see why they would want their information secret.
All I am saying is please don't criticize this forum for not being open, when it is more open than the other forums.

I am not critizing this forum persay, we do actually discuss some important things on here.. Even though I guess I will get in trouble for saying this but I was more critizing those who run the forums.. I just feel that it was a little extreme to ban tcb for 4 months just for his "j.c." comment and for expressing his views for matrix sites.. Whether or not he did all the things watchdog claims his post were clean and rarely if at all did he actually insult anyone at least not that I noticed.
I mean honestly in his above post he didnt say anything directly negative to timerz. He said he thought the whole situation was absurd but thats his right to his opinion. In many of your own post you have called people scammers, immoral, liars, wrong and more. Though I already know theres no winning this arguement with you.. I meant no disrepect to the board, its just in my opinion its not regulated fairly, once again thats only an opinion and we all know everyones got them...

Watchdog is not joking... I can remeber my first series of posts... Watchdog warned me that I need to follow the forum rules if I wanted to remain a member. But hey... I lisened to his warning and I have not had a problem since.
Uwantme... you are way too defensive. I remember when you were told to just deal with someone who insulted you. It was justified because you said that the person had no life or something... that person came back with a response. You initiated the attacking and did indeed asked for it. Your initial attack came out of nowhere and was totally uncalled for. That is why you were told to deal with it. The person who even insulted you apoligized eventually.
You often twist people's words and get too defensive about everything. My advise is to let some things just roll away... that's what I do... somethimes I may begin typing a response to someone and in the middle of typing I decide... "forget this" debating it brings no true value and I just let it go. (this is a direct reference to when you typed that I may have low morals - once again a totally uncalled for attack). I decided who cares what one person thinks... and I let it go.
Nobody gets away with murder here. Personally... I am more critical of the anti-matrix people because I want our side to look good and I do not want anybody to tarnish our reputation.

You know amagic2u you are one of those who seem to attack me alot for no reason. My post which went off topic was in direct response to watchdogs post. If you wanted to stay on one topic then watchdog should have made his public annoucement in another post. Any of my other responses where made back to posts directed at me. So dont start that I moved away from the topic of the post when you have posts made by Arzel that is addressed to me about a whole other topic posted here that I wasnt even talking about in my post and the same with maxpower over half his post was about other posts not even mentioned in my post, not to mention concerneds post which has absolutly nothing to do with your topic. No offense to them or their posts, but Im not being some scapegoat for you to take your frustrations out on just because I support some matrix sites..

Look amagic its not about winning.. I just want to post my opinions here like everyone else. I know I get alot more hassle because I support some sites but sometimes I feel it goes overboard. I do understand your plight especially since you did cycle and didnt recieve anything. i would be upset too because I have been a member of ezexpo, threepeople, and tymglobal all which have ripped me off. I also think ezexpo is a bad site with an even worse owner. I respect this site for trying to stop the bad sites, I just dont agree with them trying to destroy all sites and for sometimes being harsher to be the people who do support matrix sites.

You are right, and I still want to see if anyone responds to my post as well, so I am reposting it. I especially want to hear what people think about these quys selling a spot directly into the matrix like all the other matrix sites are actually doing.
I have looked at the terms and conditions on this website, and they contradict themselves there. They say that there will be absolutely NO REFUNDS per line 7 of their Terms page copied below.

SOUNDS LIKE THEY ARE SELLING THE SPOTS DIRECTLY INTO THE MATRIX WITH A FREE FONT.
As you can see, the Terms allow for the refund, and that is all he is trying to get.

It looks like ematrixusa.com is now taking orders via Pay Request to keep their lists moving. Meanwhile, it seems like CSI did not release the $20,000 or so dollars to them either. Here is what they say on their site:
From: www.ematrixusa.com
Called CSI on payments today! All we got was voicemail, left numerous voicemails and hope to hear back from them tomorrow on the status. Just to warn everyone, we did receive about $3,000 in chargeback's through this account from various people who we can not mention.
Their update from August 22nd does not inspire much more hope either:
From: www.ematrixusa.com
8-22-03 Well as you may have all experienced and noticed, this past month and a little more was complete help. To start off Ginix froze funds, holding almost all the funds we collected on the site in the 2 batches that are being held. To top it off the server my site was on got severely hacked and brought down my site along with about 5,000 other sites. It's a lot different now when a matrix site is down because the first image people get is that we ran with their funds. To let everyone know, WE DID NOT RUN, we are still hear to serve and to get your electronics at 80% of retail price! Thing about being a matrix site and having a site that isn't functional doesn't help, because in that weeks time when the site was down we were overloaded with feedbacks. We will work this out and we would like to start a new advertising campaign so if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to let us know. We will solely collect PayRequest and Money Order by request. Thanks for everyone's time.
