what's going on here? Can anyone explains this craziness? :(

From: http://www.emoneynews.com/united.htm

This is a movement of like minded members to come together for the good of all.

It is decision time. It has been stated many times that "YMMSS is a company that belongs to all of us" and this statement has been brought to the table many times by members who use it to make demands on the company regarding what the company is doing for we the members.

It is time for We the members to come together for the good of Our company and make something incredible happen for all.

This page will serve as a commitment page for those members who are willing and able to make a decision to make a real and noticeable change in the cycle times.

This is an organized movement and will gain in strength between now and June 11th, Our 3 year anniversary. On June 11th we will all begin with our first purchase in our United We Stand Movement.

As members decide to join the movement their name and commitment will be added to this page as a testament of their belief in what YMMSS stands for and is doing to improve the lives of everyone it touches.

Understand that our intent is not to try to convince you to do anything more than you are willing to do for Yourself, Your Family and your fellow YMMSS members.

If you do not feel comfortable being part of United We Stand then simply close the page. We understand that every member is in their own place regarding the company as a whole.

We also know in talking to members every day that if they know other members are willing to work together for the good of all they will participate.

Here are the steps to take if you decide to join United We Stand.

1) Decide what amount of EPC'S you can comfortably purchase each day, each week or each month.

DO NOT feel that if you can only make an extra 10 dollar purchase a month that it does not count or that you are any less important than some one who can do more. We are in this together and every purchase and commitment is very much appreciated.

2) Send an email to ymunited@yahoo.com with your Name and Your Commitment.

3) Spread the word to those that you have sponsored that you have made a commitment and you would like them to do the same.

4) On June 11th make the first purchase of your commitment.

What is the point in listing all those names? One or two for an example would have sufficed. I am sure no one here knows any of these people and could care less about seeing that long listing.

On the other hand, the paragraphs above the long list of names is very interesting. It would appear that there are quite a few people that don't want this program to die off.

ycchen, it's the YMMSS telethon to help bail Kim's
God inspired business out of the dumper and also
to celebrate 3 years of a successful ponzi.

See, evenJerry Lewis.........$40.00 per week the telethon king is involved. :D

How many of this small percentage of the YMMSS
membership actually follow through on their "pledges"
will be another story.

what your point of making this comment? If you don't want to read the whole list or any of the posts I posted, just skip it!!

My purpose of posting is NOT for you, sisco50, but for those who care about YMMSS, and to archieve crucial evidence that might be useful to go against YMMSS in the future. Got it?! So, if you don't like my posts and do not have any comments (positive or negative, that's fine with me), then save your time and everyone esle, and don't divert the thread!

Sufer,

Do you think there are fake names on this list? I guess no one will know.

Also, by listing "all" the people publicly, we can actually calculate the cashflow into YMMSS, then everyone will know that it won't be enough to save the ponzi. So, I guess, this list will go against the YMMSS scammers at the end of the day. What do you think?

They are actually having a better response to
the "pay it forward" gimmick than this one. It's
obvious people are much more willing to forgo
one cycle than to throw fresh real money into
the pot.

Thank you, ycchen. God forbid you post anything for me. :( You are well on your way to taking over the role of Concerned in talking down to members here. Way to go!

I do not see my post as "diverting the thread". Sorry that you do. Guess I'll just quit posting here and make you happy! Try and have a good day as I believe you need one desperately. :)

I am really surprised that Kim would make this move. The reading of the "United We Stand" clearly shows that YMMSS is a Ponzi.

I hope this meaningless ramble is not off topic, and like most of my other posts I dont know what I'm talking about.

I'm sure I've annoyed alot of people when I go shopping, asking detailed questions about warranties, their return policy and the like. Likewise, when I invest, or whatever, Im not satisfied with their sales pitch, but I want to know how they ve performed in the past. I'm not interested in the big deals, or big commissions, or whatever when the economy was good. I'm more interested to see how the company did when times were bad. Where they willing to stick with their pricing or buying strategies, or where they willing to take a loss to get over the pitfall. In my opinion, its when people are at the lowest how they handle themselves tells much more than when they are at their peak.

3 years is an accomplishment. What if I was going to invest $100k for them to do my advertising (Pretending I never heard of them)?

Q: So, I understand you just recently celebrated your 3rd year in business. Thats quite an accomplishment considering most businesses fail by the second year. How did you celebrate such a milestone?

A: Our diehard members got together for a fundraising drive.

Q: Fundraising? By your (non-existant) fact sheet it shows that you have paid out $90million dollars, and that your company takes 25% from each sale for investment purposes. So, youve taken out about $30million from the system, and are only promossing to put back $80 a day?

A: Yes. Well, i got me a hotel, and travel agency to give discounts to go to my hotel. Some silly golf game and an auction site for people to dump their worthless EPCs. But we have bright things in our future.

Q: Ok. So, your at a slump. Its good to see that ur members still have faith in the system. Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

A: Trying to pay off the June 11, 2005 purchases.

No, I don't think there are any fake names.

I have proof that there is at least one fake name on the "united" list because someone just make up a fake name with a fake commitment, and YMMSS just add the name without careful varification. :D

Beside, how do you know if these people REALLY donate their money into the system? I guess no body really knows. That's the beauty of a ponzi -- a blackbox operation.

They are actually having a better response to
the "pay it forward" gimmick than this one. It's
obvious people are much more willing to forgo
one cycle than to throw fresh real money into
the pot. I think MOST members won't buy this gimmick except a few true believers.

LOL @ Dreamer. :)

Arzel, I don't believe this little gimmick was
directly initiated by Kim. It's just another
desperate member initiated attempt to salvage
the fading YMMSS.

Not that it matters much if a fake name or
two sneak in there.

As you and I both said, there is no way to
know who will really follow through on their
pledges.

It won't make much of a dent anyway and
will simply line Kim's pockets with a little
more money.

Gosh...just when I thought I'd seen it all. And, by the way, 30 more commitments were added to the list this morning.

At least one of the names is real, and I'm afraid he's also serious about his commitment. I'm nearly certain that R&R Davis is the relative (he often refers to he and his wife as R&R) who I mentioned in another thread (http://matrixwatch.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2676) and estimated that he had $20-40K in YMMSS. I guess I was estimating low. Does he really mean to buy an additional 640 EPCs a month? That would be $6400. But surely he knows the difference between 640 EPCs and $640. And the 500 EPCs a day he mentions would be returns from the HYIP that he's been investing heavily in--with the intent of rolling all of its payouts into YMMSS. They alone would total up to $108K a month, for a grand total of $114K a month from R&R alone. Surely he must mean only $11,400 a month, but I'm having to suspend any belief in his sensibility these days, so I'm not sure what to think. I wish I could figure out how to shake some sense into the guy, but I'm afraid he's the kind who will not admit making a mistake even after he's been drawn and quartered. What a mess.

Can anyone explains this craziness?
Although I like surfer's explanation lol, all I can think is that Kim is very good at what he does best. Perhaps he's been playing the guilt card, blaming members for YMMSS's failure, they took the bait and stepped up to the plate.

They are going to be very disappointed, however. I couldn't help but parse the list into numbers, and so far it comes out to only $161K a month. And that is taking R&R Davis's 640 EPC monthly and 500 EPC daily commitments literally. But even accepting that probable mistake on his part, over the remainder of 2005 their total commitments would only slow the rise in cycle times by less than a day. If R&R really did mean dollars instead of EPCs (which I expect is the case), that brings the grand total down to $58K, which would slow the rise in cycle times by about 1/4 day over the remainder of the year.

I'm sure that many remaining YMMSS members are capable of doing math, but the only one seeming to actually do it is Kim! Even on the United We Stand page, the bookkeeping is troublesome. The summary says, "The total going into commissions payable account starting on June 11...$29,830." The only way I can imagine that the record keeper came up with that number was to simply add up the commitments without regard to whether they were daily, weekly, monthly.... Doing that, I came up with $30,050, so he might have also overlooked things like the 2 x in commitments like "2 x $80," which would make our numers nearly balance. But never mind how reckless and shortsighted this is, has he forgotten that Kim will be skimming his first 25% off for administration fees before any of it goes into the CPA?

I am really surprised that Kim would make this move. The reading of the "United We Stand" clearly shows that YMMSS is a Ponzi.
I'm thinking that Kim doesn't much care anymore. He's had to know that he'll be found out sometime, and I suspect that he's already permanently out of the country, just squeezing out as many more bucks as he can. (I'll post more of my theory on this, later, in The End Game.)

Salsa

PS: I think that most of the names/usernames are real. How many will actually follow through, I don't know, but the peer pressure among the believers, to prove they are believers is very strong. The page's introduction states that, "As members decide to join the movement their name and commitment will be added to this page as a testament of their belief in what YMMSS stands for and is doing to improve the lives of everyone it touches." Which means that if you are [i]not[i/] on the list, you don't believe. Heck, from there it's a short step to find in default anyone who doesn't make an additional commitment.

Yesterday was the big day when members who still believe in YMMSS celebrated its third anniversary and began doing their part to turn cycle times around. I count 309 of them, and they are showing their support by committing to purchase $49,400 EPCs. By my calculations, that amount added to the commissions account would slow the rise in cycle times by about an hour and eleven minutes. Unfortunately, however, the bulk of the commitments aren't anything new, but simply statements that the members will continue purchasing as they have in the past. The net effect, then, should be to reduce the rise by about half an hour--for one day.

On a monthly basis, the commitments come out to $82,600 a month through the end of the year. All of that added together should slow the rise in cycle times by about half a day by the end of the year.

The only good news is that a few believers do seem to be coming to grips with what they are dealing with. One actually referred to her commitment as a "contribution."

Of personal interest to me, R&R Davis also clarified the nature of his contribution: "2336 EPC's every month as we have done for the last three months," coming out to an even 73 x $320 a month and suggesting that he has about $100K in YMMSS so far. That's very different from his earlier commitment, but it makes a lot more "sense."

Here are the newer commitments, not already included earlier in this thread:
Tammy Martin 80 per week

Wanda Gregg- $20 a month

Eugene Boyle $80

Paul Boyle $80

Well, it comes as no surprise that the United We Stand effort is yet another dead horse. Today's commissions paid was only $131K, for a daily average of only $44K. Only three weeks ago this would have been a record low payout for the last 14 months, but at least it was $60K more than last Monday--which was the record low.

It's been four weeks since the May $300K of "outside revenue," so the June installment is due about now. I had thought that Kim might drop it into the kitty today in order cause a little greater one-day impact and give the UWS believers a little more faith that their donations were effective. I guess that Kim likes to spread the joy around, however.
