I've created a "pro-matrix" forum where matrix owners and supporters can post their thoughts and ideas. They are also welcome to post in the general discussion area. I created this forum so that not only the matrix supporters can voice their opinion, but so that banned and suspended members would have a place to voice their concerns. That's right, EVERYONE who has been banned or suspended now has access to the pro-matrix forum as well.

I created this new forum because I enjoy reading the debate between the two sides, but it has become too unorganized. Threads are being interrupted and brought off track. This is a difficult challenge when I want a clean archive of informative threads that hold true to their subject titles. Furthermore, some members (both pro and anti-matrix) have been out of hand with assaults and attacks. They have been suspended, but they may share their side of the story in this new forum anyway.

I think the pro-matrix forum will make things a little more organized here. Those who wish to voice the pro-matrix side of the story will have their own archive to do so, and they will not need to interrupt other threads to do so. The banned members will also have a place to post their messages and we will not run the risk of forum rules being broken in the general discussion area.

Some of you were asking about whether or not pro-matrix members were allowed to post on all the forums. Of course! Everyone is welcome here at Matrix Watch. There have only been a few anti-matrix and pro-matrix members banned from the main forums. If a member has bot been banned they may post on whatever sub-forum they choose.

Sounds to me like your trying to put us on our own corner.
Like "here.. go over there to your little area, say whatever you want in there."
Shouldn't we be able to voice our opinions anywhere like everyone else?

Threads are being interrupted and brought off track.

What an excuse... You realize that statement means.. I don't like when you disagree with my posts I want them to only hear what I have to say... I don't want to debate.

It is a mockery ifyou expect us to go to your little corner where YOU allow us to speak... Shame Shameee!

Who are you trying to impress that you feel the need to look like a nice guy and make us a forum? We have our own forums.. You invited us here remember? You encouraged us to come and debate with you watch doggies.. noww is it something different?

You are more than welcome to post on whatever forum you would like to. However, some visitors will come here and may want to know exactly what the "other side" has to say. It is difficult to find all the pro-matrix arguments because they are located in threads that are often under other titles. With a pro-matrix forum to call your own, you and the other matrix supporters will be able to create your own archive of opinions. In addition to this, I have allowed the previously-banned members to have access to the sub-forum as well. They will have the opportunity to voice their opinion even though they were banned before.

My goal for the new forum area is not to place the matrix owners and supporters in a corner. Rather, I want to keep these forums organized enough so that a new visitor can come in and read the different viewpoints with ease.

Not true. Banned members have access to the new forum. Matrix-Sites owner is not a member yet, and to gain access a user must join.

It seems that by banning both tcb and uwantme a whole new era of debate will emerge. I am glad that this is happening.

Well, I think it is great that WatchDog made this little "corner" for people who are for the Matrix sites, mind you I am against them with the exception of MoveMeUP. Sorry, I just can't help it, that site is amazing and yes, yes, yes, I know it will eventually fail but it's hard to complain about a site that is so good and has been so good for so long.

I hope to see posts from Uwantme soon, as this is a free country and people should be able to express their opinion without being banned (like on the other forums out there) just because someone (hint, hint) does not agree with them.

Its just makes no sense to me. Think about it.
What kind of threads would we create in there? lol

The subject under Pro-Matrix Sites Area says "Where matrix owners can tell their side of the story" lol... If we are going to share our side it should be a debate that takes place where comments are made....

Comments are made where?
Everywhere else on the board NOT IN PRO-MATRIX AREA!!.
Do you get what I am saying?

Are you giving us that area to run advertisments or what lol. If you really want us to be able to share ourside.. We need to be able to voice our opinions where everyone else does, not in our little corner it will be like talking to the wall.

Let me get this straight, you like MoveMeUp even though they are a matrix site, but you still don't like matrix sites...???

You will more than likely like them until someday down the road they are not helping you and then you won't like them anymore.

Perhaps, I am the only one who sees something wrong with this.......train of thought.

And yes people should be able to express there views, but not in a little corner set aside for them. We are not in kindergarten you know.......

To tcb1969a:

I am not for matrix sites in general. Yes, I do like movemeup, but I like it for how well it is run and that you actually buy something you can use, however, lets face facts, in the end even that site will fail. All matrix sites WILL fail, that is a given. There is no possible way that everyone on a list will "cycle" and get their "free gift".

As for this "little corner" my understanding is that WatchDog has reinstated all the banned members and that they were now free to post under any catagory.

Yes, you are right, we are allowed to post in any section now...Though it still does not mean much since he set it up that way for us to be in a little corner like children....

Watch Dog is not just in his dispensing of justice....

It is my understanding that someone got banned on this site because of a post on a completely different forum(msn). Please tell me that people are not getting banned for statements made on another forum. Besides there was nothing posted there that was not allowed here from my understanding. All she did was post matrixwatch DNS information on the forum. Why should the people that are supposed to trust this site be informed of any public information that pertains to this site. Is this not the same thing that the moderators of this site are doing. If someone wants to know the contact information of a site the moderators will post it here freely. What was the problem with this?
