Has anyone come across www.advangageconferences.com ? This very much resembles the Austrailian 2 up plan which simply means you pay to come in lets say $1200. $200 would go to the company & $1,000 would go to your sponsor. The product is educational seminars on how to become a millionaire which also require payment. To qualify to make money, you find two people who want to enter into this money making deal. These two people pay the same amount to come in. The first two people you sponsor goes to your sponsor. He makes the commissions on your first two sales ($2000 in this example) Now you are qualified to make money. Your 3rd sale goes under you and his first two sales go to you also (ad infinitum). This company started up in Dec. 2004 and now have 2000 members. They charge $59.95 to come on board and $1.000 to earn a $500 commission. The first two sales go to your sponsor.as in the above illustration. They have a very sophisticated system of procuring new members and this is what makes it work. The fellow I contacted has made $156,000 in his first 140 days. I would like member input from Matrix Watch. You simply fill out a info request form & go through 3 steps to get the info including the payout. Let me hear from some of you people who have been there and done that.

I have heard about these seminar schemes. Many of them are set up like a MLM, but the primary goal is to get members to pay to attend conferences. The basic design is also a pryamid, and unless you are in at the beginning (like any pryamid/ponzi/matrix) you don't get anything.

What makes the seminar schemes even worse is that many people end up spending a ton of money attending seminars, which are supposed to help you get rich, but only end up making the those holding the seminars rich.

You should always avoid any scheme where the primary source of your potential income is based of the number of people you pull into the scheme.

I give this a huge :nono:

Arzel, Thanks for your insightful opinion on this company. I must say though, they have an ingenious marketing system which culls out the tire kickers, skeptics, and just too broke to pay attention. If this system could be implemented in an honest business, very few would fail which is typical of the majority of all net working "programs". This website is a much needed filtering device to protect the gullible, unwary, and short on gray matter.
