We've been fortunate enough to identify a whole series of new internet scams here on matrixwatch in the past few months, which of them do you feel is the biggest, in terms of number of consumers affected and amount of money taken from them?
If you think there is scam not listed in the poll, vote for 'Other' and post it on the thread, it may be an internet scam that needs some more attention.

Even though most of my posts are about YMMSS,
I would have to give PIPS the nod at this point.
With a membership 5 to 10 times the size of
YMMSS and a minimum spend much higher,
there is no doubt in my mind that Bryan Marsden
has ripped off many more people than Kim Inman
has so far.
Of course, both companies are many months
delinquent in their payouts.
One big difference is that Kim Inman structured
YMMSS in a way that falling behind in payouts
wouldn't be as obvious as it is with PIPS.

I would like to include a scam which I mentioned
in another thread.
PIN or the "Pajama Income Network"
It's very similar to ymmss and it's just another ponzi that
is crashing.

Thanks Jokach.
The more attention we bring to scams like Pajama Income Network
the more people are aware of them and less likely to invest their
money into these schemes and lose their money.

While maybe not the biggest (but who knows) but it goes into all scams is the donation scam. IT raised money for the tsunamia relief fund just to reinvest that money into their scam
I am personally annoyed by these scamers because they take advantage of the kind hearted that wants to help out victims of trategies just so they can fatten their wallets.

I voted other. While I am completely against the scams we discuss here, I think phisher scams are much worse.

I agree with Concerned, even though all of these scams are totally out of control. Phisher scams are really doing some damage.
I wish that there was a "good" phisher mail that would go around, and if somebody responds to it with their vital details, they would get a scary email back telling them never to do that again, and what would have happened if a "bad person" was behind it. That's one theory at least.
I hate those Phisher scams. Auction scams too.

If that is true, that is the most disgusting thing I have heard about IT.
I am inclined towards people who raise charity funds only to run off with them as being the worlds worst scammers. Although scammers gives them more credibility than they deserve.
Worse than those who steal from old ladies.

I think the most dangerous scam out there right now is the "autosurf" site www.12dailypro.com - do have a look and see what you think!
Clearly a Ponzi scheme - 144% payout on your "membership fee" (i.e. investment) after 12 days.
It is particularly dangerous precisely because it is so well organised - very "professional".
One interesting thing is they have a forum - go to www.12dailypro.com and click on the forum link.
If everyone here could visit the forum and warn people there it might be possible to prevent too many more people getting ripped off before it is too late...

Another ponzi scheme Gary Harvey is involved with.

The biggest matrix internet scam is Mach90 and Juvio... The marketing plan is illegal according the AG's in this county, but they will contenue to grow and make billions before they get an order handed down and a $10,000.00 fine..

So, just because a bunch of supporters who have made money from the scam say that its legitimate, that should make us change our minds? I'm sure there are people who have made money from it, but unfortunately that comes at the expense of other people losing their money or getting a fraction of the payout that they expected.
Maybe you should be the one who shouldn't jump to conclusions and realize how these 'programs' really work. Where do you think the money comes from to pay the people who advertise the scam like that?

Its your mind. How am i to change it? So please take your time.
Actually there are only bunch of supporters here and nobody else at all in this program. All the 50,000 members, excluding some newbie sceptics who are just looking before leaping.
I'm sure there are people who have made money from it, but unfortunately that comes at the expense of other people losing their money or getting a fraction of the payout that they expected.
I wish there was atleast one member of this program who could say that he lost his money atleast once here.(he has to be a member here and not some '12dp' who posted earlier in this thread as he was never a member). And is that going to happen,NO.12Dailypro got its NetIBA certification, adding to consumer protection.

12DP now NetIBA Certified - by Charis - 12DP Admin at 2005-09-27 00:40:19
We are proud to announce that both our 12daily Pro website and our Stormpay payment ID are now NetIBA certified. For those of you who may not know what this means, NetIBA provides consumer protection services by providing a valid, confirmed identity of Internet vendors wishing to do business on the Internet. With this new certifcation, 12daily Pro strengthens even more its solid reputation as a trusted online business. We also know that this will go a long way toward instilling confidence in potential new members.
================================================== =====
And about the fraction part, yes we are paid only 0.44 times our investment plus our investment giving us a whopping 1.44 in just 18 days(12days is the earning period, but 18-23 days is the cashout period) :applause:

I certainly wouldn't consider a NetIBA certification to be worth anything. Any website can sign up for it, and become 'certified' by them. You make it sound like its some sort of FDIC sponsored program that protects the consumer, when its not. The whole NetIBA concept has only been around since December of last year, your certification means nothing.
Actually, NetIBA has had several reports made against it for the way that its 'consumer protection tool' works, its basically spyware that sits on a users computer and transmits personal information, plus surfing information back to NetIBA so they can market themselves to the websites and email addresses that the user uses, so more sites can become 'certified'. Thats a great way to do business .... oh, and the fact that Stormpay is NetIBA certified is the icing on the cake .. they started as a matrix site, and allow many different scams to use them as a payment processor ... credible? I doubt it.
Regardless, good luck with your scam.

So, just because a bunch of supporters who have made money from the scam say that its legitimate, that should make us change our minds?
So why is your mind made up in the first place? What do you know that we, the members of 12DP who are getting paid don't know? Please be specific. We know you've been burned in the past but that doesn't indict this program.
I'm sure there are people who have made money from it, but unfortunately that comes at the expense of other people losing their money or getting a fraction of the payout that they expected.
Yes, there are -- TONS OF PEOPLE. What people, specifically, are losing their money in 12DP?
Maybe you should be the one who shouldn't jump to conclusions
Now just who is it that is jumping to conclusions here? We're getting paid. We're about to find out what the new web page is all about. You're the one telling us "it can't be" when we are experiencing it.
and realize how these 'programs' really work. Where do you think the money comes from to pay the people who advertise the scam like that?

Be more specific please. What scam?

Pathetic. You haven't even taken the time to understand how the system works. You don't have a clue.

Amazing! It looks professional. It smells professional. It acts professional. It pays like professional. Therefore it must be a scam.
I expect if everyone here went to the forum and checked things out, we'd have a LOT of new members.

I don't think I have, however only time will tell what the future holds for you and your website, theres no sense arguing since we'll never see eye to eye on it.

Exactly the attitude you get from an early investor .... 'nuff said.
