Do you mean trying to return the item for a refund after you received it? Based on what is written here, its hard enough to get a refund when you haven't even received it, so good luck, and if you end up getting the refund from returning it, let us know. :)

I refused on Friday and I am tracking it back via DHL's website. I have demanded a full refund from My DV, will let you know what happens.

didn,t have the chance to refuse was delivered to neighbour. looks a bit risky trying to return anything, could well be stuck with a camera with no warranty an incompatable battery charger and no memory card which was part of their offer! seem to be well and truly done up like a kipper. seems like all us poor trusting souls are up s..t creek is there any authoroties that can help?

Check out the link in our main menu labeled "File a Complaint". You will find MANY USA and UK resources for filing complaints against this company.

( I POSTED THIS IN ANOTHER POST .. PUTTING IT HERE AS IT COULD BE INFORMATIVE FOR OTHERS )
i would just like to post to say .. i ordered from this site .. and then after finding some parts of the site suspicious i googled it, after reading some of the posts on here .. things made sence .. i was feeling bad big time
so i took the advice .. and rang all the numbers .. got through fairly easy . and got talking to an indian man .. who got very frustrated with me as i asked alot of the same to make sure of things
well i basiclly asked him if i could cancel the order and get a full refund of the price .. to which he said yes .. but then he said i must wait 2 days before he can get my details and cancel the order ( he said this was because i rang the day after i placed the order .. which is true )
so i will ring them back in 2 days time and hopefully i will receive a full refund .. but from that informative phone call - i dont see why i wont .. hopefully i get my money back
he also said that it would take 2 weeks delivery if i let it go through and that its a UK psp (thats what i ordered) but it was made in the usa - which is what makes the difference between the UK one and US one ..
mainly i am annoyed at the fact that it makes it out to be a UK site .. when actual fact you are ordering from USA .. that is the only reason i cancelled .. apart from that i didnt see a problem with the service .. so far everything has gone smmothly - fingers crossed!! lol
oh and also .. he said that myDV would cover the PSP with the warrenty if it gets broke, a year warranty he said

There is no need to put it in more than one thread. Everyone can see the thread you put it into.

well,it seems according to my credit card company im stuck with the camera with no comeback on these people.i was advised to check every item sent with the thing to make sure it,s what was advertised on their dubious website,lo and behold it is!. i now have to obtain a uk battery charger plus a memory card, part of the bait was a free memory card. however anything offered free according to my all knowing cc company doe,s not enter into any dispute. in effect mydv are not doing anything wrong, apart from the overcharging with their trick exchange rates.

Bluestar - Did you get a battery charger included which came with a two pin plug? We did - but we bought an adapter for approx. £3.00 and it charges up o.k.
