In our latest poll, we want your opinion as to what you think should be done based on the consumer experiences with mydv.co.uk.
This is an unscientific poll that will be open for two weeks, and you must be a registered member of Matrixwatch (its free) in order to vote and see the results.

ok so the site wasnt it said it was, reason you bought from here was because..1.it was cheap 2.was a sponsored link (well that was my reason) you do get your items, albeit ALOT longer than u thought u was gonna wait, and you get overcharged by what seems to average of 15 bob (depending on how much the total order is i guess) but i dont want to waste my time phoning these up everyday and sending countless emails, i will leave it 30 days..if nothing comes i phone my bank up and demand a refund (thats what i was told to do) and my advice would be to ANYONE in the UK shop somewhere else, and stay well away

They must a legitimate company otherwise folk wouldn't ever get anything or manage to get a refund but they through their website are very misleading on price and what the kind of goods you are going to get ie not necessarilly UK spec. and you get over charged compared to the sterling price on the website.
Through my own experience with them (not over yet) their customer service is just about as bad as it gets. They admit themselves it takes 10 days to process a refund not including the time it takes to clear the transaction through the banks. The customer service staff although polite aren't all that helpful and can be very evasive on certain questions.
I have seen other websites trade by importing non-UK goods at a knock down price but they have been open about what you are getting and what it means, even supplying converter plugs for chargers etc in the package.

Because the Poll options are not mutually exclusive, yet you can only choose one item to vote, the poll will not really inform the public as to what the overall best strategy is when dealing with myDV. Having made that rather pompous remark (! sorry), I applaud MatrixWatch's excellent service in providing this forum. Without it myself and I am sure many others would have much less aware of the right thing to do. Which is, if you haven't placed an order yet, don't; and if you have be determined, persistent, and never give up whether you have gone for a refund, or decided to await delivery.
