Ipod Photo anyone?? Please Help!!

Hi, has anyone ordered an ipod photo from mydv? Has anyone received an ipod photo from mydv?

I emailed them to check the status of my order, quoting the order number and they replied telling me about the high worldwide demand for sony psps and that if im patient, i will be happily gaming in no time!!

I didnt even order a psp!!! I ordered an Ipod Photo!!! :head:

Unfortunatley it doesn't matter what you ordered from MyDV they are just as bad at charging the right amount or actually delivering the goods no matter what the item is.

You will need to decide what to do that is best for you. I cancelled my order and got my money back (so it is possible). It takes a while and will take a lot of effort on your part to chase them and ttell them what you want them to do next.

You could wait 30 days and submit a claim against your credit card company who should credit you then try and recover the money from MyDV. This is a reasonably good way of getting your money back but it will take up to 45 days from when you make the claim.

The other alternative is do nothing and see if it turns up.

You will probably eventually get it but when it arrives you should consider:
1) there may be no valid warranty
2) there may be unpaid import duty and VAT
3) the plug will be wrong
4) there may be compatibility issues which you should very throroughly research
5) you will be overcharged probably

If you can live with the above and are patient you will get your goods probably eventually.
If you cannot live with the above you will need to be very persistent, very patient and eventually you will probably get your money back (but probably not all of it).

Either way, like all of us, you will feel very bruised by the experience.
