It does appear I have been caught out by this website and I am just wondering despite the problems named do you actually get your products?
I ordered a PSP two weeks ago and encounted a delivery problem so it will take a further week, so will I actually get it?
Are they a real company which is badly run or a company scamming us?
Please don't be the second one.

Best to read the sticky at the top of this sub-forum to get all the information (myDV - Just the Facts). It sums up everything throughout these pages very well.

In my opinion they are a badly run company. Not a total scam, i.e. you will get your product or a refund, eventually, but this is not likely to be stress-free or very quick as most customers would expect.

Were you overcharged at the point of sale? Most people on here were... This is where I think you can say they are scamming customers. That and not telling people they are based in the USA. Oh and not giving full refunds when requested...

Sorry to have to tell you but you probably won't get it. I ordered a psp from them on the 11th November and am still waiting for it. All I can suggest is that you do one of two things you either phone them up and cancel it and hope that you get a refund from them or do as I did and contact your credit card company and let them deal with it, 10 to 1 when you contact your cc company they will already have heard of mydv and the fact that you've not received the goods will come as no surprise to them.

As for whether they are a bonafide company or not none of us really knows, some people have received their goods whilst others like myself have received nothing, but one thing is for sure they are selling goods that are supposed to be UK compatible they are not, that's what the guys and girls who actually have received something from them say at any rate and the fact that they charge more than the invoice says is a crime in itself.

In my opinion they are a bunch of United States con artists praying on the trusting British public and the sooner the credit card companies ie Mastercard and Visa do something about it the better

I am aware of them potentally over-charging yet the other night I phoned them, not being fully aware whether they had over charged me, and got £15 off straight away so hopefully I guessed correctly. I am in confidence that I will receive my PSP, yet the promised 'latest by 10th December' does seem to be farfetched with other peoples complaints on this site. In a moment of anger I wrote a email acting as a 'Detective of Fraud' which may make them get their act together but we'll wait and see. Added to this was a complaint to Watchdog which has been done by many other people resulting (hopefully!) in a segment brought up about the company on Watchdog. The fact is they are acting illigally with using Britsih Sterling instead of the American Doller and pocessing as a British company, plus the problem with over charging, which should be reported.
I would be grateful if someone replied regarding an issue with their PSP and whether they received it.

Thanks for putting this thread back on and please don't to those tempting to use it for abuse.

My update is that I am but 3 days from being able to complete my 30 day non delivery refund application to Tesco Credit Card. And yes, they already knew so that will be part of my submission.

I have also filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General's office as suggested on Matrix Watch.

One thing I haven't noticed on this Thread, what responsibility if any lays at the feet of their ISP I wonder? Any ideas and who to complain to?
