Looks like i have also been used in this scam. Bought a camera from this web site www.mydv.co.uk no camera arrived bought on line 21/11/05.

What can be done to claim my money back also how do we stop scums operating this way.

Can someone please advise :confused:

Hi There

There are two things you can do, you can either contact mydv and ask them for a refund if you can get through to them or get any sense out of them which I very much doubt all they do is try and fob you off or the better solution in my opinion and is what I did, is to contact your credit card company and tell them the situtation, it is most likely they will already heard of the problems with this so called company and hopefully after 30 days from the date of your order they will be able to do something called a chargeback, to get your money refunded to you..

hi i'm yet another poor person taken in by these people, paid £346.11 for a dvd camcorder on 12th nov 05 although it should have been £319.99 got a small refund of £15.00 approx last week, been promised 25th November delvery then again 2-3rd dec well guess what 8th december 2day and no camcorder \i really don't understand how the whole thing works unless mr DV.co.uk is living off the interest from everyones money!!!!! did you ever receive your goods!

I ordered a PSP from them on the 11th November, was e-mailed a delivery date the same as yourself 25th November and am still waiting. If I were you i'd do what I and alot more people have done, contact your credit card company explain the situation and let them deal with mydv.......
