I ordered a PSP on 17 Nov and after checking Google found out what sort of company they are and immediately tried to cancel the order. I emailed them 4 or 5 times with no response and tried to go on Live-chat a few times. Finally got a response on Live-chat and a rep called Tanya Wilson advised me I couldn't cancel the order with her and had to call. I tried for 4 days and eventually got through to a man called Robert Miller. He told me I couldn't cancel with him this day but I could if I called back the following day ( your guess is as good as mine ) anyway, my husband took over the call and had a 30 minute chat with Robert basically saying that they are a sham and we would seek legal advice if we got no result. I called again the next day and was amazed to get through. I spoke to Sandra in the Order Review Dept who said Robert had in fact cancelled the order and I would receive the refund in 7-10 working days. A few days later I received an email from the Order Review Dept to confirm my order was cancelled and my refund was being processed, I called them to check which currency this would be in and was told Sterling for £169.95. I said I wanted it in dollars for the same amount they took which is either $311.80 or £179.95. On 28 Nov the refund was showing on my credit card account for the amount of $311.80. I was speechless. Then later the same day they emailed to say the refund had been actioned. So I got a refund within the 7-10 day rule and it was for the correct amount. Be persistent and you will get through. I know longer think they are dodgy just that they are the worst run company in the world!!

I am very glad you got refund - well done! Again, persistence pays off.
However, to say they are not dodgy will irritate most people who have posted on these threads. They are totally dodgy, for all the reasons plastered over 99% of these posts.
I also eventually got my refund - the whole saga took 8 weeks.
We have a collective responsibility to complain appropriately to the relevant agencies about myDV, and I do hope you will join us in that!!

Sorry if what I said irritates anybody - I simply meant that I think they are a "company" in a very loose sense of the word but I don't think they are as dodgy as some other companies around who disappear off the face of the earth once they have your money....
I will definately be complaining to all the right places to put an end to them
I hope this gives some people hope and urge them to keep going until you get your money back....

Keep trying the number on the website and you will get through eventually. I got through to them 2 days in a row, on a Mon and Tues at around 6.45pm. Also, they said that they had received my email I sent to the Order Review Dept trying to cancel the order.
I know it's a real pain but just keep going at them. I think I emailed them about 30 times in a row one day, just hammered it so they had to take notice.
Try service@mydv.co.uk or order.review@mydv.co.uk
Keep going.....good luck!!

i got my refund within 2 working days so 2-3 weeks is ridiculous (mind you that was for overcharging) :nono:

Well i asked them on the live chat thingy if they can confirm that my order is to be cancelled, they told me it will not go through for 48 hours (at least they are playing the same tune) i asked if there is anyway she could tell me if the request has at least been put in, she told me no, i will receive an email
I said so the only way i know if its gone through or not is waiting for this email, she replied yes and also wanted to know the name of the guy i spoke to which i cant remember aaaggghhh (ill have pen and paper with me ready for next time) so im now just playing the waiting game. :(
