This is simply NOT true. The advertisement on their web page was for a PSP "Value Pack" and the price given and charged (apart from the overcharging on my credit card account) was for the "Value Pack". All the items were listed alongside the advertisement, including those missing from the console box I received.
Has anyone else received a similar email from myDV.co.uk ?

I DON'T APPEAR TO BE ABLE TO DELETE THIS POST - BUT TO PUT THE RECORDS STRAIGHT - I WAS WRONG!!!! I OWE myDV.co.uk an apology. ALTHOUGH THERE WERE ITEMS MISSING FROM THE PACK I ORDERED - THE INVOICE SHOWS THAT IT WAS NOT A VALUE PACK. I am contrite. :o

I cancelled my order on 17th November, but also could still access my order details via "Order History". The cancellation was ignored!
I even printed out the order cancellation to prove that I HAD cancelled - still received the consols on 12th December, minus various items.

I had the same email today.
I cancelled my order 2 days ago and specified the amount that they had taken from my account, which (you guessed!) was above the amount invoiced. I don't know if this has anything to do with it. I'll just wait and see what happens.
Also, let me just say that the costumer services is dealing better with my cancellation / refund request than they did before, when I tried to find out about my order!

At least we know that they are fully aware that they are selling incompatable items.

I still thought I was ordering a "Value Pack", but as they have changed the advertisment now - I cannot prove this. (There current advertisement is for a "Value Pack") The invoice states that it was not, so in actual fact, their offer was not better value than others (£10 cheaper) and more especially as they "overcharged" my credit card account.
Moral of the story, "better a devil you know......." :)

Well if you can tell me what "Value Pack" is in Japanese, I can check the box properly to see if it should have been! lol
The manual most certainly lists the contents as a "Value Pack" - but as this manual could have been inserted in ALL packs - perhaps it wasn't. :shake:
At the moment I am befuddled, muddled and dizzy from going around in circles and attempting to get an aged brain to function in "memory mode".

STORIC, MyDV sent you a product that infringed the Plugs and Sockets (safety) Regulations 1994, it is not acceptable for us as consumers to purchase an adaptor, this is the reason I have been pursuing mydv for a full refund and have tried to arrange return of the PSP.
On a more positive note I have had a better response from customer services today, they assure me that an e-mail will be sent to me within the next 2 days with DHL returns info. I will not hold my breath!

I have today posted everything I've had from myDV.co.uk to my Credit Card Company - that is a copy of the invoice, the only TWO emails, their present advertisement, and a copy of my cancellation made on the 17th November - and guess what, forgot to include a copy of the transcript of "Live Chat" - when I DID manage to get on for the only time, after waiting 1hr 58mins.
My credit card company believe they may be able to get myDV.co.uk for not stating that the consoles they were supplying were Japanese imports. Although the consoles were usable without the memory sticks and other missing items, if these were listed as being part of the order, then they may also be able to use this. Unfortunately, myDV.co.uk have changed the advert on their home page and put BOTH the "Value Packs" and "Standard" packs on the same page. However, I've sent this to my CCC and explained.
So, Patience will have to be my friend, and a hard helmet will come in handy. :head: I showed my husband this site and he has finally realised that his doddery old wife isn't the only one to be taken in by myDV.co.uk. :D

Well I might sound flippant but retaining a sense of humour in all this has kept me sane. After all it is the "season to be jolly" not the one for "tears and brolly" lol

I have finally, after many efforts, managed to print out the form for the Office of the Attorney General, Boston.
I have filled this in and will post it on Monday or Tuesday next week. I presume the more complaint forms they receive the more ammunition for the their guns - so would suggest that anyone else who has a similar complaint send in their forms A.S.A.P.
Must confess, that without this forum, I would have probably given up on this! So thank you everyone - whatever the outcome - all the help and encouragement on here has been very much appreciated. :applause:
Despite everything, don't let things get you down and all of you enjoy your Christmas - make it a cracker! :D
Angel wings for everyone - but stay away from the top of the Christmas tree. :)

PS Still have no postal address for the return of these two PSP's, despite several email requesting one.

VERY TRUE Storic! Folks who feel they are victims of MYDV fraud need to fill out those forms and mail them to the attorney general. The state of Massachusetts cannot ignore hundreds and hundreds of complaints!
