I moved this from another thread that was getting off topic. I have told you before that StormPay is owned by www.tymglobal.com . Tymglobal was one of the first matrix electronics sites out there. They were open even before ezexpo. They have over 6000+ members on their list for the laptop alone. They created Stormpay once Paypal froze their account. See this from their homepage:
Tymglobal is proud to announce “StormPay” The new Online payment Processor. Send and receive payments for “Anything” that you do online! For more details please click the logo below.
StormPay by Tymglobal.
Honesty...Integrity...Upward Mobility...It's About Tym
They are one of the first sites to "rip" me off. They do not show you the list of names before you join and after I paid I found out I was like number 4000 or so on the list. Since they take 70 to cycle yeah its pretty much hopeless. Oh well, my gamble.. Here is the direct link to their laptop matrix: http://www.tymglobal.com/laptop/
and they offer around 5 or 6 other matrices. To my knowledge this site has never been into any trouble and I very seldom hear complaints about them and they have been operating over a year.. Here is the link to their members section for the laptop you can see the size of the list and how many have cycled so far:
http://www.tymglobal.com/users.txt
though it doesnt look like its been updated since April. I know the site was down for a few months maybe thats why.

tymglobal was where I started at. If you saw the TechTV interview, you would notice that I said something to the effect of, "I got the idea from another site and improved upon their idea"
While I did not get it perfect, tymglobal was where I got the idea from. I thought they closed up shop. Look for my name on the users.txtx link......it is quite a ways down there.
I just happened to be a little better at advertising than they were and the auto-cycling functionality that I created helped better the idea somewhat.

Kind of odd. I heard a while back that stormpay put freezes on matrix sites? I dunno if it was true, it was a while back when I heard it.

I heard they froze a matrix site once but it wasnt because it was a matrix site it was because they were sending spam or something like that. Stormpays TOS state:
"Buyer beware - Stormpay assumes absolutely no responsibility for any purchases made through the Stormpay system. At any time you join an Income Opportunity or MLM program you are doing so at your own risk. We do not issue refunds if the product, service or program turns out to not be what you thought it was, or if they don't hold up to their promises. You should thoroughly investigate any opportunity before making the decision to join - if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. It should also be noted that voiding your credit card transaction you used to fund your StormPay account for any reason constitutes credit card fraud as well as violates many other laws, and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent allowable."
StormPay MLM Policies:
While StormPay does accept MLM and Income Opportunity vendors, you should note that joining any MLM or Income Opportunity is done at your own risk. There are many legitimate opportunities on the Internet and each one should be carefully investigated before making any decision to join. StormPay will not offer refunds for these or any other purchases. These matters should be taken up with the vendor.

Nice info uwantme... I had a feeling StormPay was created by a matrixowner or supporter.. Kind of like PayRequest... StormPay has froze a few matrix sites the reason behind it I am not sure.
What gets me about StormPay is they dont give refunds to anyone... If a refund is needed it is between the sender and reciever to figure out... This is risky for a person buying into a bad matrix site... on the flip side perfect for a matrix site owner..
I recently wanted to help someone get out of a bad sites investment... The processor was StormPay, there is nothing I could do to help her...
I'm interested in hearing more regarding StormPay... Thanks for the info..

Anyone in touch with the matrix community should spread the word: a matrix site using StormPay is crooked and should be avoided, just as sellers on Ebay who insist on Western Union payment should be avoided. In these situations, StormPay is identical to Western Union, you send your money and have no redress and no contact info if you get scammed. The only reason to use StormPay as your pay processor is if you want the opportunity to take the money and run.
It'd be really cool if some movement could get started to boycott ANY merchant who used StormPay, but that's probably pie-in-the-sky...

StormPay just sent out their latest news release (below) and, to say the least, it’s full of bogus and outlandish allegations. StormPay seems to have confused the difference between a HYIP (commission based program), an autosurf site, and a paid to surf advertising site; punishing programs that have been extremely reputable and are neither ponzi nor pyramid schemes by legal definition. StormPay, in a legal battle, will certainly lose to this poignant fact.
It certainly doesn’t appear as if StormPay did their homework in their research. The allegations that programs (no names given) did not present the information that StormPay requested is preposterous at best since it’s been clear from the beginning that accounts were closed for no reason and without explanation as to why, meaning there were no requests as StormPay claims. In addition, StormPay did not freeze ALL accounts of these types of programs and clearly shows bias and discrimination on the part of StormPay.
Frankly, I believe this should be a class action suit against StormPay, considering I am one of thousands of members in several of these programs, some for whose accounts are frozen and some that aren’t. Its a bit suspicious that the two largest online programs, 12DailyPro and Alientrust were affected. It would seem logical that StormPay would play up these allegations if, in fact, they were themselves having financial issues. I hope that legal remedies punish StormPay for all the damage they’ve caused not only the businesses involved, but their members.

Okay...I've read all of the info about Stormpay and now I am very curious as to exactly what IS transpiring with them. I recently requested a withdrawal to go straight to my bank account. When I go to check the status of the withdrawal now I cannot even access their site. Think there's any chance of getting the $$$?

Watchdog team: Let's run through the list of active Matrix sites and come up with a list of them that are using Stormpay. We can then provide said list to Stormpay. This hasn't worked in the past, but in this new light I imagine it will.
