Mark,
Was this all via email?
I emailed inquiries@nepine.co.uk yesterday to AGAIN try to cancel order and get refund- and I get a reply stating i need to call them (which I guess will be a waste of time also!?)

Has anyone had success cancelling and getting a refund?

I have absoultley bombarded these people with e-mails and badgered them on the chat service . I even got one of their supervisors to call me, his name was Kurt Rice.
I have sent e-mails to all these addressess;

'inquiries@mydv.co.uk'; 'order.review@mydv.co.uk'; 'smccorison@nepcodirect.com'; 'jparadies@nepcodirect.com'; 'mmanikian@nepcodirect.com'; 'service@nepine.com'; 'mwolf@nepcodirect.com'.

I did get this reply within 2 hours of sending it. I am so furiuos with this company i have just kept on at them.

Hope this helps

I cancelled by phone. Talked to the 'costumer services' first, who tried hard to make me change my mind about cancelling and then finally (when I was about to loose it) they put me through to the 'orders review' department and talked to Mr. Kurt Rice. Got an email the next day saying the order had been cancelled and another one the day after saying the refund is being processed. I am now waiting (cancelled on the 14th).

2 hours later!
You are now chatting with 'Lisa'

pippa: hello i wish to cancel my order but the mail box is always full

Lisa: Thank you for contacting MyDV, how can I help you today?
Lisa: Can I have the order id please ?

pippa: ######

Lisa: Thank you
Lisa: It is due to be dispatched today & once that happens you will receive an email latest by tomorrow evening with the tracking number. Since it was dispatched via DHL express delivery, it basically brings down the delivery time down to 2 days.

pippa: thats all very well but i want to cancel the order as i have been told at least 3 times the order has been despatched to be told today that it has'nt

Lisa: I am requesting you to give it time until the 24th of december, I am very positive you will receive your item. We have also stopped taking fresh orders, as we are focusing on delivering all goods meant to be delivered before Christmas.
pippa: but i dont want it.i want to cancel my order as i have been messed around once to many!!!I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER

Lisa: I apologize for the inconvenience caused, since we are Chat support we can only provide you with limited information and we are not authorized to take cancellation on Chat sessions.I would suggest you call back in the morning at around 8-10am GMT that's when the call volume is low & have a word with my order review department.

pippa: i would like to know why i was told the order had been despatch on tuesday morning when it had not

Lisa: I am not sure

pippa: i ordered the psp on the 17th of november and was told delivery would 3-4 weeks we are now in week 5 i have had no reply to emails my bank account was over charged and iv been lied to at least 3 times about the goods being depatched.i then do a search online and find most of your customers are fed up with your service and had the same problems i have had

Lisa: I am aware of you are referring to. It has been escalated to my executive management who are looking in to & will have this resolved asap. Rest assured that all existing orders will be delivered
pippa: to little to late i have had enough of your companys lies.i will phone to cancel my order tomorrow if i canot get through again i will have to think about taking legal action against mydv and have already got in touch with the massachusettes attorny generals office who are looking into the whole my dv issue
Lisa: Ok
pippa: merry christmas!!!!
Lisa: Thank you again for your business, and wish you happy holidays and a wonderful new year. Good bye

We've got to get that MyDv instructions post up. Appartenly, people are still waiting for their packages, even though they were overcharged for it and the item is a non-compatible product.

People are also continuing to deal with MyDv directly, which we've already determined is not as effective as filing a chargeback and refusing the item.

jeez you people are lucky, i have bombarded MYDV with mail after mail, i have also sent them what i sent the AG and their legal people. I have not received a single response from them. and there is no excuse for the third party call centre to lie constantly. I worked for the worst uk company ever in a call centre. ( the dixons group) ps (dont ever deal with them either) and i made a point of informing MY customers of what was going on, and although they often came to me angry, they at least appreciated the truth. It's quite obvious from the traffic the call centre get, just whats going on, they choose to deal with it as they do. this world is often a crap place, it's not an excuse to go along with it. I dont, and clearly you guys on here dont either.

I don't know why you bother bombarding them with anything, it's quite clear that MYDV are not interested, why don't you let your credit card company do the work for you, you'll give yourself high blood pressure if you don't :flame:

Your debit card may have the same protection that a credit card has. Have you contacted the card issuer?

mr.snaksnak,
if your debit card is a Visa, they will treat this just like a normal credit card.

Other debit card companies will start a refund process if you have been charged more than you autherised, or for non delivery of goods.

There is more than enough info on this forum to enable you to give a true picture of MYDV to your debit card company and get a refund.

I was also told by Lisa10 days ago that I would get an update email regarding my cancellation, I am still waiting, yesterday the 2/1/06 I spoke on the landline and I was told that I should get my refund by tomorrow, I also contacted via the livperson chat window to Sandra who told me the same ,however she wouldn't comment on the update email, so I shall be calling my CCBank tomorrow and see what happens.

kind regards to all

I suggest stop wasting your energy with mydv it is an absolute waste of time, get your money back via your credit card company and spend your frustrated time complaining to all the suggested organisations already posted, to make everyone aware of what this company is up to. ( See "file a complaint" and "what you can do to help") That's what I'm busy doing.I t takes the edge off my anger!

Thats all very well carolann but as i have found out, my credit card company are not interested in helping either! They say that as i cancelled my order then theres nothing they can do unless i get an e-mail from mydv stating cancellation, date & amount, trying to get that is like :head: ..........do you know what i mean lol?? If anyone out there can help with this one..PLEASE let me know, ive been fighting for almost 2 months now & to be honest, i got better things to do :weep:

If MYDV have not informed you of cancellation, i don't see how legally that can be classed as cancellation. I assume you have an order confirmation mail. An order has to be confirmed somehow, it also has to be confirmed as cancelled too. I would speak to your bank again. I have heard zero from my DV after various emails, i doubt if they will answer. They took my money on the 7th of December, on the 7th of January, i will be taking steps to have it chargedback through their bank. good luck with your bank.

They know full well what this company are like yet they are still taking money from our accounts, they are jointly resposible from what I can gather. You can claim back after 30 days of not receiving your goods, don't take any crap from them, they are partly to blame for the continuing misery suffered as a result of this company. Just keep badgering them.

Dear Annie and Lisa,

Good to see your view, shared by others, and definitely by me (see my other recent posts) that the CC companies are as guilty as hell over this. Annie, don't take "no" from your CC company, be as persistent and firm as you can be, there is no way you should be palmed off in this matter. I feel sure that you will be fully refunded in the end. Single-minded persistence, and you will win.
