I finally managed to get through to the Customer Services today 24th December, and this is the first time I have actually managed this. I spoke to a Mr. Robert Miller - who was polite and courteous.

I informed both the young lady who first answered the telephone and Mr. Miller that I wanted to return the incomplete order to myDV.co.uk and get a full refund. I requested a postal address or some method of returning the two PSP's. Mr Miller has promised to pay me compensation for the problems I have had, and forward the missing items sometime next week.

I asked Mr Miller if he could assure me that this was a PROMISE and he stated that it was. I have to be fair about this, Mr. Miller was very sympathetic and was quite adament that I WOULD be compensated, would be refunded the overcharge to my Credit Card Account, and would receive the missing items next week. Albeit too late for the Christmas delivery promised.

I am now again waiting to see if myDV.co.uk fulfills this latest promise. If they do, I will let you know immediately. I must confess that the sum of money promised appears to be a generous one. However, what the outcome will be I don't really know.

PS This is not a case of "being bought off" - I am desperate to get something out of this very unfortunate experience as it has left me financially embarrassed. This is just another avenue to be investigated.

I honestly don't know what will happen - no one will give me an address to send these PSP's back to. I'm just waiting to see if their telephone suggestions today are just a confidence trick or a geniune offer. The whole thing is a flipping mess. I do however, have other cards up my sleeve and it's just a case of "wait and see". They have until the end of next week. To be honest, I am heartily sick of the whole business.

Have you folks followed the steps outlined in the MyDv FAQ (http://www.matrixwatch.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3561)?

Thanks! I read through all the FAQ's and appear to have followed what is applicable to me. I have filled in a form for the AG's office and will post it early next week - with all updated offers from myDV.co.uk. I have also sent all relevant details to my CCC. - As I say, just a case of waiting now - and I must confess, getting more and more depressed. :(

Well to tell the truth I got the telephone number for Mr. Robert Miller - actually Customer Services from someone on here. The number is: 0207 993 4696 - I am in the UK by the way. I spoke to someone before Mr Miller and he is apparently the supervisor or manager or something like that.

Hope this helps.

It sounds like the District Attorney (DA) has turned up the heat. I can almost guarantee this is due to the continued pressure the MYDV victims are putting on MYDV. Keep it up! You're all working together, and big things are happening.

Here is a copy of an email, which I sent to myDV.co.uk today, 30th December.

I would very much like to know whether this is concise enough - without rambling - to send to the AG's office, and describes the problems I have had with mydv.co.uk.

"Dear Sir or Madam,

To be honest, I don't suppose that this email will get any more results than the ten or twelve I have sent previously between the dates 17th November to 24th December, 2005.

However, this and copies of the others will be sent to all relevant parties concerned with dealing with "victims" of your company dealings.

Once again I reiterate, will you please send me a postal address to return the incomplete order made with you on the 9th November, 2005 and subsequently cancelled on the 17th November, 2005.

This order arrived, incomplete, on the 12th December, 2005 and you were notified on the 13th December of items missing from the console boxes. There was no notification of these having been despatched to me and the two PSP's arrived unexpectedly, and were delivered by DHL on the given date, 12th December, 2005.

I have repeatedly requested an address to which I can return these consoles, and have not been given one. I have only managed to "speak" to your representatives on the telephone TWICE, and on both occasions was given promises which your company has failed to keep.

The last occasion was on the 24th December, and having first spoken to one of your telephone agents, was passed on to a Mr. Roger Miller who assured me that he was authorised to reimburse me the sum overcharged to my Credit Card Account*, to send the missing items to me, plus compensate me for the inconvenience that this unfortunate matter has caused. The sum he quoted, which, incidentally, included the sum overcharged to my account, was £94.00. I was assured that this matter would be concluded by the end of this week. * My invoice showed the total sum of £339.90 and my Credit Card Account was debited by £366.60.

I no longer believe that your company has any intention of keeping any of the promises of completing this order - or of correcting the overcharge to my account. I have been very patient with your company up to now, but now I have had enough.

You will therefore, send me a postal address for the return of these items, pay for the return postage and refund me the TOTAL sum of £366.60. This is not a request, but a demand for my legal rights as a customer who has paid for and not received the goods ordered, as advertised by you on the 9th November, 2005."

Is there anything else I should add?
