I just wanted to post a quick messsage to let you guys know that even though my problems with myDV have been concluded, I am still logging in daily to keep uptodate with everyones progress...
Keep fighting guys...but remember do it through the correct channels and always be professional and to the point.. When emailing the AG and other agencies..remember they do not want to read ranting letters which ramble on, they want the facts todate so that they can act on these..
I am still writing to express my concerns, and would encourage others to do the same..
As a final note, whilst i appreciate many of you are still having difficulties, take this advice...Do Not Try To Deal With myDV...Use the banks and credit card channels...you are wasting your time with the call centres and promises of tracking numbers and deliveries...If you should recieve your product, i suggest that you refuse to accept it, allow DHL to return it...this way you avoid the hassle of returning it to an address you cannot get hold of...
Let your banks do the hard work...after all this is what they do best...

I'm of the same mind as you misty, I've also had a refund from my credit card company but still want mydv to get their just desserts and keep coming back on here to see how the fight to stop them in their tracks is progressing. If we could just get the media attention in some way and are able to stop one more person from being ripped off by these people it will be worth it....

We could get some press....if ~320 people all completed the assignments (http://www.matrixwatch.org/forums/showthread.php?p=31838#post31838). :)
I'm pretty sure you already have Carolann. This is really for other people's sake.

Yes people have received goods from mydv, but in the case of the PSP'S they are not UK compatible, they are incomplete (items missing) they are Japanese imports, with Japanese instructions and no warranty.......

Today I managed to get through to myDV reference my order of 6 December
and was told that it would definitely be delivered in the next 3 days. I'm not holding my breath. I requested shipping details but was told they could not supply these
over the phone but would email them. I was also told I would receive £15 as
compensation for the troubles caused by them!! Not a generous sum considering
the non arrival of Christmas presents, the hassle of trying to phone them, the non
replies to emails, and broken promises. I assume that if the goods do not arrive
by 3 January they have not complied with the court ruling.

Crookhoward:
Check out our MYDV FAQ (http://www.matrixwatch.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3561). It has answers to a lot of questions (including the one about goods actually being received).

Guys take it from me you are not going to get your goods when you have been promised them....this is the latest email from myDV to me...it was sent two days ago....please bear in mind my order was cancelled before xmas, and a full refund already given....This is just to show how incompetent myDV actually is...Dear Lisa ,
We apologize for the inconvenience, however, your shipment has been delayed with DHL in one of their routing facilities.
As you are aware from your tracking information update email, your shipment was dispatched out from our warehouse with a tracking number of: 78**645***
Tracking this shipment through DHL's system, we see that it is currently delayed with them. We have contacted DHL regarding this and have started a trace on the shipment. We will be receiving an update within the next 24-48 hours. DHL's current position on this shipment is that it has been "lost in transit." Your shipment is currently with approximately 20 other customers' orders that are also in this position.
At this point in time, we will be requesting this shipment be returned to us, should it be found.
We do not, however, wish to hold up your order anymore. And this message is in regards to it's immediate resolvement.
We can pursue one or two avenues in dealing with this issue. The first of these would be for us to request a replacement be shipped as soon as possible to you. Due to the fact that this order was already shipped and has been unfulfilled, the replacement request will take highest priority with our warehouse. The second option would be for us to process a cancellation and post a refund to your account for this purchase. We understand that you have bought from us anticipating a timely delivery and we do apologize for this error in transit. Our goal is to resolve this matter as quickly as posslible.
Please forward your response to this email to the following web address: order.review@mydv.co.uk
Our representatives will be checking this address specifically for responses from yourself and other customers whose shipments were also contained in this batch that has gone missing
Again, we apologize for this inconvenience.
Thank you for your business,
Sandra

My business dealings with myDV was concluded before xmas yet they still send me that....
MY advice to you is....cancel your order...refuse delivery if the non uk spec items arrive...and get your banks to deal with the company and getting your money back...DONT WASTE YOUR ENERGY WAITING AND PHONING THEM...

I'm now in the process of looking up all the newspaper websites in the UK and seeing if any of our press will take this up. Bodicea rides again!
