If you really want to do some good investing, you should check out "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and his game Cashflow 101 and 202. 202 is an awesome game about investing and really gives you some good insight into the stock market that makes it easier to understand and easier to invest in down times.

That's my CPA advice for ya.

I've read through RDPD, Cashflow Quadrant, and #3, Rich Dad's Guide to investing. They really are great books and I think that anyone would benefit from them. His whole approach is that we can invest our money in two categories: Assets and Liabilitites. Assets make money for you, Liabilities depreciate your money. This is the approach that the pay companies have to the matrix sites. At first, the matrix sites seemed like an asset to the pay companies. Now, they are at risk of being sued and reported to other CC companies. The matrix sites have become an overnight liability to the pay companies, so they are trying to get rid of them. In addition to that, every matrix customer who still has their money in the pay company's pocket is also a liability, so you see a massive amount of refunds being given.

I would also recommend that everyone check out "The Motely Fool" (fool.com). They are an awesome source of info to the investor, and they are VERY easy to read. Their approach is the same as Robery Kiyosaki's, but they go a little more in depth.

Hurley, have you played both Cashflow 101 and 202? If so, should you play the first before the second, or can you just jump to 202? Can you play with 2 people?

No, they are not e-books, they are books you buy at a book store. Very good ones I might add. I would recommend the first, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" (RDPD). In fact, we could start a discussion about it in the Misc. forum if you'd like.
