This is in reference to the matrix world using porn to advertise, but it also brings up a very American idiology.
Nudity in America is viewed very negatively. The word "porn" itself sounds angry when spoken aloud, and those involved in this profession are looked down upon by the vast majority of people. Yet in most of Europe and even Canada to a lesser degree nudity is not viewed negatively at all.
Here in America violence is also viewed negatively, however it is accepted much more readily than nudity, however in Europe violence is viewed much as we view nudity.
I am curious if others find this interesting or odd, without getting into too much of a debate on the issue. I know many people have strong feelings and are quite sensitive to this issue.
