with stormpay doing all the chargebacks and all , i was wondering if they could take money from someones check account?

If you have your bank account registerd at Stormpay and have authorised them to take subscriptions.

You should call your Bank as soon as possible. They should be able to cancel all contact with SP but you may have to close and re-open the account.
