View Full Version : APPLEMATRIX: LONG LIVE MATIX SITES!

I am a matrix site owner. Before I was a matrix site owner I was a matrix site player.
I came to this site because I recieved 2 emails about it, one was from someone from this site, the other was from a member of my site.
This site is filled with lies...Matrix sites are NOT illegal. People receive a product then a chance to win more money or prizes. This is stated on most sites.
We have given away THOUSANDS of dollars on my site. We give folks refunds, and let folks out of a matrix. This sites attempts to paint all matrix site owners with a broad brush. Their are theives all over. Most matrix owners are not theives.
I came to this site and found nothing but lies and personnal insults about me. I "sell sex" or post pictures of myself "drunk." !!
That's how you guys help people? Hurling personal insults and lies at people you don't know?!?
I am willing to answer any question about my site. There is a reason why it is probably the most popular matrix site still doing business today.
So give me your best damn shot. We didn't just open our site on a whim. We talked to lawyers and other matrix site owners and players. We found out what works and what doesn't . We found out the problems and have our own solutions. When someone signs up at our site they are trusting me with their MONEY. That is a great responsibility. I don't take that **** lightly. Having someones money in your hands is as important as having their children in your hands. We don't take it lightly.
So if you have a real question or comment. Let me know. Because I'm ready for you fools!

Adrianna,
Welcome to this site, and thank you for taking the time to post. As far as your "legality of the matrix sites" statements are concerned, we welcome your opinion. In light of your view however, I would recommend that you download and read the "EzExpo Lawsuit". Your statement about selling e-books to offer a chance to win something shows that you are not yet familiar with what the lawsuit alleges. The heavy claim against the matrix sites is not refund issues, e-book values, actually giving out prizes, etc.. Rather, the lawsuit states that the matrix sites are running an illegal lottery under CA law. Other states have similar laws, and some states even directly classify matrix sites as pyramid schemes (a felony). You don't have to listen to me, or anyone else on this site for that matter, but for your own sake I recommend that you do. You could get into a great deal of legal trouble, even though you think what you are doing is legitimate.

Your first question is STUPID and not worth a response.
Your second one is valid and obviously came from someone else.
The reason we put palpal back up is allow those members who only use paypal to feel comfortable. We clear the account every few hours so our members won't lose money. We also state a warning if they do use paypal. But it's the customers choice.

We started our site after the EZEXPO lawsuit so we know what we were getting into.
Our attorney (and many others around the country) sees the lawsuit as frivilous. Now if the courts end of agreeing with your side then we will shut down, but until then we will not.

Do you know for a FACT that not everybody on your lists will cycle?
If you do the math, there will always be someone at the end of the list that will have a harder chance than the people before try to cycle. For easier proof, watch your lists grow. I notice that you color code those that have cycled, versus those that have not. You will notice that the bottom of the tail will grow much larger, (2 times) as much as the ones that have cycled.
If you know that not everyone will cycle, do you tell people this, or do you just hope that they won't find out?

One of the reasons we post the color codes is so people will know in advance what they are getting into. We also post the day someone signed up. We are very open.
Will it die? Probably. Everyone dies. But I will do everything in my power to keep it moving for as long and as fast as possible. That's my job.

Just out of curiosity, how do you clear the paypal account. If you do withdrawals to you bank account, that takes several days and PayPal has been known that when they freeze your account they will freeze the pending transfers as well. The only way to bypass it is to have a PayPal debit card that you can do withdrawals at a ATM machine, then put it in a bank.....
Also, PayPal has been known as well to go into your bank account that you have set up with them as well, and take the money you have in your account when they freeze your PayPal...
Just friendly advice.....beware of PayPal....

This quote will bite you in the butt in the end. You state here that everyone's list dies. Therefor, you know that not everyone will cycle, and that it falls into the relm of a pyramid or ponzi scheme. If you don't know what those are, look them up. They are argued all over this forum.
Are you 100% honest to your customers and tell them that there is a chance that they will NOT cycle?

and if you stay open until it is declared illegal then shut down you are still gonna get the same punishment. I made the statement that you were drunk because you can clearly see you were "altered" at the time of that picture. If you were not drunk, the please accept my apology for the assumption.
That being said, you need to come in here with a better argument than the same one that has been used over and over and has been shot down over and over in these forums. It is obvious you came to this forum with the same "vengeance" that you portray in the other forums. It will not work here as you need to be pretty well versed in state and federal laws to debate here. You opened up by incriminating your own site by stating there is a "chance" involved. Chance is one of the basis for illegal lottery and you have been quoted. If you did consult attorneys or lawyers or any legal counsel before you opened your site, they should have known that.

You don't need to necessarly have knowledge of laws, you need to have concrete PROOF that what you are doing is LEGIT. I challenge you to bring in SOLID proof, such as market research, written statements from lawyers, other cases where a matrix owner won a lawsuit. Stuff like that.
So many have already been ripped off by these scams, including you. Without the proof, you will get nowhere here. Who knows, with the right amount of proof, you may be able to sway the opinions of some of the members here.

Here is another question that I would like you to answer, which has also been debated on this site several times. Maybe you can bring insight into the subject.
You say in your TOS that your matrix giveaway is an incentive for your purchase of an ebook.
If you are selling ebooks, and NOT spots into the matrix, then why don't you say anything about the ebooks you are purchasing? I would at lease like to see a title, or a selection. Maybe information on the author would be nice, as well as a description of the titles. You know, sports ebooks, car ebooks, internet ebooks, etc.
If I were going to try to run this kind of a scam, I would try to make up a front. I would AT LEAST take the effort to make my website look like a bookstore, and hide the scam. All matrix sites, hide the bookstore and show the scam. Can you respond?

Hey I like cute drunk women! Nothing wrong with that. LOL. It sounds like you understand what you are getting yourself into. But, I hope you are prepared for the storm and fallout when it does go down and ends. Many people don't read the TOS when they sign up and they will be upset. I keep saying- just takes one politician's child or whatever- being in court to defend this will be costly to yourself. And it won't be your attorneys losing the money to defend yourself, it will be you. Heck they will make money defending you. And god forbid if a government agency pursues you....Wow, they have nothing but money and time to dismantle and ruin your life. Sorry- Didn't mean to preach to you.
The only reason a Matrix will have limited success is from people who really don't understand it and are slightly deceived. I have not seen your site, so I am just talking in general. Does this bother you that there are some people will spend hundreds or potentially thousand and get nothing except some token item? What about the grandma or grandpa who only reads the big type and spends their savings? Speaking of which- is your site down or am I typing in the wrong address?

Their new site is www.applematrix.us
Anyways what about the people that go to casinos and spend hundreds and thousands and get nothing in return? You hear stories about people losing everything they have, selling their houses to get money to go to the casino. What about those people? Matrix sites are not that bad where people spend their life savings.

Adrianna, I know you are cruising the waves of success right now, but just ask TCB, the wave will close out and you'll hit the legal jetty sooner or later. Don't take Gordon Gekko's advice that Greed is good because the greeder you get, the further away you will get and it will come crashing down and just because it isn't illegal yet, doesn't mean you don't have to face penalties.
hurley9192
August 12th, 2003, 06:27 PM
Also, how do you make any money if you let people that cycle get back into the matrix? Does it help someone cycle? Do they have to pay for it?
If it helps someone cycle and they don't have to pay for it, then you are essentially losing even more money because you are then giving away more gifts to people that have already cycled.

You say here that you offer refunds. Let me say this.
First, offering refunds is NOT a bad business practice. You are right.
NOW, let's look at your updated TOS.
*****************Refund Policy*****************
As a general rule NO REFUNDS are offered. But we do offer our RED PILL Option if you would like to leave a matrix.
Then I looked at your RED PILL option, and it is a refund option.
SO WHAT IS YOUR POLICY?
ARE THERE REFUNDS OR NOT?
In addition, I think it is absurd that you require someone to print out their ebook to return it. That is a total waste of paper, as well as the consumer has to pay to ship out a worthless document to get their refund. Why can't they just email it back?

I would assume it is for legality reasons.....Remember each state is different in their laws. Also, I assume someone heard, but there is a anti-pyramid legislation going to or thru congress. I seen it about a week ago somewhere on the net.....

What is for legality reasons. The fact that she says that she gives, refunds, then her TOS says NO REFUNDS, and then she hides her refunds behind something called a Red Pill? Why does she say NO REFUNDS in the first place then.

Why can't someone EMAIL them back? Why print something that is hundreds of pages, just so she can throw it away.

To discourage refunds! I am positive that is the only reason that this is the "rule" to get a refund.. There is no way this could have to do with a law otherwise I think she(Adrianna) would be doing a whole lot of things different!

what if I just send them a picture of me, and my wife in a bikini, drinking beers...would they post that on the website? Could I still get a refund?
Also, why the red pill? Just because of the movie? I'm surprised that their site doesn't sell "the little blue pills" based on the pictures. Atleast those would be tangible products and easy to get.
I just think it's weird the way the site is setup to be almost blatantly a ponzi scheme. Also, she put her state of business on here...whoever, reported TCB is probably shouting a huge thank you and it's going to be short time I'm sure before the attorney general of that state will hear about them.

I believe they told us on these forums that they are from FL. Is that what they state on their site?
Regarding the Red Pill.. Within a certain amount of time you can get a refund by "taking the red pill". However, if you paid over a certain amount for a matrix spot (about $150), you cannot take the red pill. You have to get a refund within about 6 days for those purchases. So, to recap. You can take the red pill if you swallowed a blue pill a little while ago. BUT, if you swallowed a bunch of blue pills, the you have to throw it all up really quick. Otherwise, your injest it, and all the red pills in the world cannot help you at Apple Matrix. What they don't point out though, is that you can call Matrix Watch to pump your stomach at any point.

I suppose they can design their site as they please and they can make comments about "hot boys" or post piictures if they want. Its up to them... I think its rude however that sum members have made comments about the pictures being ugly.. Thats uncalled for and who are you to judge them in that way... WOW, I wish that I had learned about this in business school. You are sucessful because you are STILL making sales after ONLY ONE MONTH. Let me guess then, tcb1969a must be retired and a millionaire because he had sales for more than one month. Is he? NO, I DON'T THINK SO!!!
Also, she was asked to come into this forum to answer questions, which she did for a while. Actually, SHE is the one that started this thread in order for US to ask questions, and yet, SHE stoped answering the questions we were asking. I know she has read them. WHERE ARE THE ANSWERS.
The fact that she made a promise to answer questions, and then decided to not answer them anymore speaks volumes about how UNPROFESSIONAL she is.

To Adrianna's sister...They were supposed to be in this thing together. "Us Girls Rock" seems to be the slogan, yet I don't see or hear of her sister coming to the aid of the site that she's supposed to be a part of. Shot in the dark but maybe the sister is the one with the business sense and her senses told her to bail out while she could. Ever since the first "spam" mail I received I haven't seen or heard her sister in any discussion. Regardless on if they were reported to the new host, Adrianna lacks vision and the business sense needed to "keep up" with the site. They don't advertise anywhere other than forums and matrix portals like the rest of the community and even with 2 person cycling, "their ace in the hole" according to them when they started the site, the lists have become stagnant. They have gotten a trickle of traffic but the lists are not moving anywhere near the speed they were in the first couple of weeks. If you can't keep a 2 person list moving faster than a 20 person list, you do not need to be owning a site.
hurley9192
August 13th, 2003, 07:46 PM
that's what happens to all sites, their's is no different. Once the list grows a little, people are disinterested and will move on.
This reminds me of the tentacle things from the movie, The Matrix. People go around in packs looking for good lists to get on, sign up and then when they have accomplished their purpose, they move on in a path of list destruction.

Looks like she is getting frustrated because the ax is about to fall on her. Like mikv said, their lists have stoped moving, and I bet she is starting to get people paranoid about losing their money. Not to mention that they already had one domain get suspended, and just bought a second. I haven't seen them really advertise that they are at the new domain. I bet some people already think they ran off with their money. This quote sounds like she is just looking for a way out and someone to BLAME. I know that Adrianna (if that is really your name) probably won't be answering this one very soon.
I was looking at your website, and came across some more shady business practices.
According to your website, your name is Adrianna, and your sister's name is Kelly. On your website, there is a link to various testimonials from happy cyclers. I can see that one of your "HAPPY" customers posted a picture of their email from Gottapy stating that they got paid by applematrix. I am wondering, how come it says:
Prince Campbell just sent you money with GottaPay.
How come it doesn't say Adrianna or Kelly?

Perhaps because pictures of hot girls and promises of possible dates with them sell matrix spots. Even if they are just pictures you found somewhere on the internet and you are some scragly little matrix con artist holed up in your mom's basement? Not that applematrix would ever do anything like that...heavens no. We all know here that matrix site owners only want to GIVE you fabulous prizes and huge wads of crispy cash fresh from the bank. Most of them don't want to make money for themselves. Why would they ever want to do that?!
take it however you want....If you think I am being sarcastic..well then I guess that's just how you are.
Forget about all this matrix crap and visit

Check out Strong Bad's emails. Dragon and Techno are my favorites.

One of the matrix site owners should license the cheat as their mascot...no wait..he has too much class for that.

I remember checking these out a year ago. My three favorites from then were guitar, english paper, and japanese cartoon. SB emails are the best...

lol yes. I honestly think the whole offtopic thing was kinda BS. I understand if people are deliberately hijacking threads something needs to be done. But if not let it slide.
