Well were pretty sure it's official. We don't think our site will be back up. www.MatrixWatchSucks.Com The database and PHP scripting is all messed up and we do not want to deal with it. Simple as that. We didn't have a big launch. We were open for about 1 day LoL!

Anyways if anyone would like to purchase it their welcome to. We doubt anyone will, but just incase. Maybe watchdog will turn it into something such as a loving site! just kidding. E-mail us if you want to purchase it or make an offer. webmaster@matrixwatchsucks.com

Anyways yeah that's the end of our 1 day launch.
Comes with 1yr Domain
1 yr of hosting (200MB Space 4GB/month, unlimited emails, databases, etc. Has tons of features!)

Thanks,
FightingBack

Yeah well I just hope we can continue to post and speak what's on our mind. But hey maybe someone might buy it and turn it into something good :D Never know. Either way doesn't matter.

I'll take it off your hands for free. I don't understand, why don't you just get a free forum database? There are a ton out there. You had PHP Nuke.. What was wrong with that. I noticed from the error message that your server is having difficulty accessing the "home2" file.. I can help you with this problem if you'd like.

Let me tell you what I saw as your biggest problems.

First, it was vision. What a forum admin needs to think is, "What does my site have that NO ONE else does?" Start there, and build upwards. If you can create something simple, easy to manage, and unique, then you will do fine. Especially if you can do it better than anyone else. You started out as an "anti-matrixwatch" site which was in line with what I am saying. However, you (as well as the other forums) realized that both sides of the debate was the thing to do so you changed what was unique about your site, so much so that you even regretted the name. Why did you change the vision? Why not start a new trend? You should have just stuck to your original idea and stirred up a BUNCH of controversy (you still can). Think about it dude.. All the other forums are thinking "Ooh, Oh, how can we advertise more.. Eh, EEHH, how can we get rid of all the new sites..". YOU, on the other hand, said, "Forget that, why not just take out the problem at the source-- Get rid of Watch Dog". Now, THAT is unique.

Second, it was grammar. You have pretty decent grammar for your posts here, but when your site was up it was really bad. Misspelled names, words, etc. makes you look bad. I know this is more of a "personal" criticism, but I don't mean it to knock you down at all. I respect you. A little word wrong here and there is okay, but not on the your site's home page an welcoming area. That is your first impression.

Third, you were unable to find more ways to criticise me and the members. Furthermore, you should not have based it off criticism alone. All you had on your site were sob stories from people who were banned. If that is all you had, then there is something wrong with that. There was a "banishment" controversy for a day, and then I reinstated the members, issued an apology, and the forums were back to normal. You had founded the criticisms of your site on what happened the day prior, and after the buzz was over you were not able to find a new criticism. This only made our site look stronger, and our arguments less refutable. Whether they are or not is irrelevant. Its how you looked.

Fourth, your site opened and you could not get members in to post. Your database was wacked and you needed it fixed. Then you wait a whole week and nothing.... Just put something cheap up. You can update it later. What was important was your idea.

Any questions? Wait... Why am I asking your questions for you?

Well thanks WatchDog. I don't know why you would want it to stay up in the first place. For your Third comment we did not shutdown just because we didn't have anymore criticism. You made that up. That would be the lamest reason to close up shop after 1 day. I'm sure we could find both on either side.

Yes our scripting and activation links were wacked as you say. This is why our scriptor tried fixing it, but could not. Then when the whole thing went down we just figured we didn't want to deal with it anymore. Were just going to leave it as it is, unless someone purchases it. Otherwise we will just let everything run out of time.

I never said that #3 is why you shut down. I said that it was something that was messed up, but it did not lead to your shutdown. Regarding the scripting, to shut down for something small like that is silly. You can get a ready-made forum and portal setup in less than a day for free. I hate to see all your hard work go down the drain, and you really did have a unique idea at first. I'm sure that some of us can be of help. Bro, don't let your dream go into someone else's hands. This was YOUR idea, and only YOU can make it possible.

I know what it is like to launch a website quickly. This site had to be set up from scratch in 20 hours. THAT was nuts. But you can do it. If you need advice, then just let me know.

I'm with Watchdog on this one...You shouldn't give up, you were the only one to step up in the matrix community and actively try to accomplish something. Quitting now will only show more future customers and matrix supporters as well that when the going gets tough, a matrix site is nowhere to be found. I'm amazed that the matrix community didn't step up for you and make that site a success, most of them criticized it as much as anybody else.
