I don't know if this is true, but when I tried to get to their site, all I got was an error that the website couldn't be found.

I am still getting errors trying to get to their website.
Here is some interesting info. At one time, they were verified by Matrix Agency. I found this in their forum.
Here is the link.

This is the quote under the title "Sublime Matrix Verification"
This site has been verified!

Another bit of interesting news from their site. Under their A-Z List, sublime is nowhere to be found.
EDITED HERE:
In another post BigStar said that they are updating their database, so that could mean that they haven't been added to the database YET. We should wait to see once they have completed the updates.

OK, I have been looking around and finally found something over at matrix-news.net from Phil.

it's shut down I'm afraid, but it is offering refunds. If you're a member and have not received info then make sure you get on to them. They're using a temporary email: sublime_temp@hotmail.com as their hosting got disabled.
They really should have notified their customers better but this is all the information I could find. If you want a refund, contact them at this email address OR go through the payment processor.

I am not sure. That address was posted at another forum by another person. I think it would be safe to start there. In the mean time, try to gather your credit card reciepts and stuff. Contact the pay processor that you paid through. If they are one of the ones listed in Watchdog's lawsuit, then they will cooperate. If it is someone else, then look through some of the threads to see if there is any information about them. Repost here after you have had contact and let us know how it goes.

I got this email from sublimematrix.com on 08/14/2003:
Several customers have informed that our site is down. We immediately contacted our hosting service and have confirmed there was a hosting error.
They informed it may take up to 3 days, but that it should be resolved in 48 - 72 hours. In the meantime, we can not access our normal e-mail account so we have set up a temporary e-mail address at sublime_temp@hotmail.com. Please use this for a contact e-mail for now.
We are sorry for this inconvenience and wanted to inform our customers as soon as we learned the details. We should be back up within the time frame specified by our hosting service.
Best Regards,
Sublime Matrix Team
Shortly after getting the email, I went to the site and it was still there but after about a day it was gone and has still not come back, so the "time frame" was obviously off. After about 4-5 days I contacted them asking if the site was going to be up again, but got no response. I just did contact them about a refund and hopefully that will come through...

Since you have already contacted them and got back this BS information, you should also file a complaint at this website.

After you do that, if you wouldn't mind posting your experience with them on this thread, that would be great.

how exactly do you recommend I request a refund?

go to the pay processor who you paid through and file a complaint. Paypal is pretty quick about responding if you used them. Also, file a complaint through ebay if you bought the link off ebay. These sellers on ebay need to go.

It really depends on several things. Which payprocessor dod you use? If they are listed in the lawsuit, then contact them directly. I think they are Ginix, paypal, and paysystems. There might be more. Can someone correct me if I am wrong? If it is a different pay processor, then contact your credit card company and see what they can do. If all else fails, then try that website I said. In the mean time though, you can file a complaint at matrixagency without asking them to help with a refund.

Contact paypal directly. They have frozen funds from many of the matrix sites in response to the lawsuit. When you talk with them, mention that you know about the lawsuit. You should get your refund pretty quickly that way. Let us know how it goes.

Just to let you know, I am no longer allowed to either help or hinder requests for refunds. This has pretty much been my stance since I opened the site, but now I am openly stating it. If the lawsuit is successful, then the class will be entitled to the rewards of the lawsuit. As far as I know, when you request a refund, you are no longer a member of the class. I have only, and can only give information related to the lawsuit. Information for refunds is out of my jurisdiction.
You are still welcome to discuss the issues surrounding refunds, and you may continue to give one another advice for or against refunds. However, I personally will not be able answer questions on how to obtain refunds.
