Well, I believe there has been talk about Kanosis being to the market faster than Microsoft, and that it is probably even better than Microsoft. So, why don't we have the "taste test" like Pepsi did.

OK. First, all we need is a free beta sample of each program.

OOPS. There isn't one available for Kanosis. There is for Vista. See here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/default.aspx

Maybe we can read about the features of both software products. OOPS. Kanosis states they are at LAUNCH, and they still don't have any documentation about the software for potential customers to read. What about Microsoft? They are not even close to launching their product, but they already have the features on the web. See here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/features/default.mspx

Well, since I cannot evaluate the 2 different software products because I cannot find information about Kanosis, maybe we can try something else.

Kanosis says they also charge not only for COIL, but also for the "community" since it is a unique offering that is worth the money. I wonder if Microsoft has a similar community. OH, THEY DO. Here it is, and it is FREE!!!

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/community/default.mspx

So, let me get this straight. The product that hasn't launched yet, has more information about their product, a free beta, and a free community. Kanosis requires you to pay for the beta, community, and provides NO information about a product that has already launched. I think this is a no brainer. I will stick to a truly professional company and wait for the Vista product to come out.

Just a small observation.

Whilst updating my software the other day imagine my surprise when I happened to take a look at the Windows Vista Site:

http://www.microsoft.com/Windowsvista/

All seems a bit similar to http://www.kanosis.com

Now it seems that microsoft are copying the Kanosis layout of their website unless of course Vista came first then Kanosis is copying the Vista layout or maybe its just a coincidence.

I must state that the products are totally dissimilar as one is an operating system riddled with bugs and flaws and the other one is Kanosis/Coil (Sorry Bill).

Is the overhyped Viral Marketing stratergy working and growing exponentially as promised or just stuttering along with 10 or 20 new sign ups a day.
As I haven't felt a Paradigm shift yet I'm guessing it maybe the latter.
The kanosis website and Vista does look very similar.........good observation

I wonder if Microsoft have considered using a Viral/hybrid marketing stratergy.
Bill if your watching your missing a trick with this one.

Before the "but microsoft doesn't financially benefit you for using its product" comments start, remember neither does Kanosis directly you have to build your own downline and don't count on this spillover nonsense which just entices members to do nothing and hope those above them do all the work.

Come on people, when is the last time you stand with the big bully-Microsoft against small-and-soon-become-next-google startup-Kaonsis?!

We are all anti-monopoly and all for free and open software, arent' we? ;)

Wait.... kanosis is not free nor open ... YIKES!

Well, that make it a bit harder to rally "open-source" people to support Kanosis to fight against the big bad wolf. Hmm... too bad. :head:

Don't worry, we have MLM people behind kanosis. :applause:

I am sure they will be the fierce fighter against Microsoft monopoly and make a break through to recruit 10 million people! Way to go MLM-Kaonsiain! :)

I am for anti-monopoly, and for open software, HOWEVER, as an IT Manager, I am also for software that works, and comes from a reputable vendor. In the case of Microsoft, there is no learning curve for the users, there is no chance they will disapear, and there is infrastructure in place to call Microsoft with support questions. None of those assurances are given by Kanosis. I would rather have a piece of software with guarantees of it working, before I take one that pays me illegally.

Microsoft Vista Beta 2 is now available, and it is FREE. I wonder why Kanosis didn't offer several FREE beta's before they started running their very buggy software? Also, has anyone seen Mr. Top 20 lately? For being in the Top 20 on the internet, you sure don't see him out there much.

Kanosis is definitely 1 month ahead of Microsoft Vista. http://www.microsoft.com/Windowsvista/

Check the link, you will be shocked how Microsoft "copy" Kanosis webdesign!:rolleyes:

We welcome review and comparison of these two competitive software. :)
