View Full Version : Why the refunds?

Maybe I missed it, but I never saw any good arguments as to why people should get refund when a site closes...
My point here is...
If the site is selling the ebook and that's what the people are supposedly buying, then why issue a refund? Is it because the people really didn't want the ebook and were in it looking for cheap electronics?

Yeah, that would be my guess, although the matrix owners will say this instead.
My TOS said NO REFUNDS, but I am a nice guy, so I will issue refunds (after I am threatened with legal action).

yeah, the big pro-matrix argument is always that they aren't a ponzi scheme because they sell legit products like ebooks and tangibles. However, then why do their customers always want refunds?
I still haven't heard a pro-matrix argument that will refute the fact that the people aren't there for the miscellaneous items, but the real stuff...the electronics, which is going to doom it and make it to be a ponzi scheme.

And why would the Matrix Agency offer any help with a refund if the customer got there e-book or toy anyway? Or do they not help with refunds? Oh wait I see it -I think they refer to it as "Lost Money". So if you get your e-book or whatever do they still help you?

When people come here asking for a refund do you ever ask them whats the reason? No you don't you just say hey go make a complaint with the pay processor....
So why are you worried what MatrixAgency does regarding refunds....

starr, I know you are involved with Matrix Agency, but I'm not really caring what Matrix Agency does about it.
My concern is regarding the double standard that the site is legit because people buy the other item and just get the electronics or whatever for free. However, if your site closes down, are customers going to want refunds?
If the answer is yes, then it's a ponzi scheme flat out.
Now, I know the legal issue is the illegal lottery thing, but the state governments are going to like the ponzi issue as well.

Check this out. It was posted at Matrix Agency by Agent|Ashu in response to Grab4Cash about why he needed to issue refunds.
You are going to love this one Hurley!

You make an interesting point here. I believe there is a difference between the kind of refund policy people state in their TOS and the refund policy regarding closed sites. The former can be enforced as is by the site owners, whereas the latter has to be followed through by the laws of your own state. If you close up shop, just like any other business, you have to fully refund any customers who have not received their products. Now, there is an exception to the rule: bankruptcy. When your company files for bankruptcy then you must refund customers to the fullest extent possible with the remaining funds that your company has left (they won't tap into your personal assets). Just closing up your business and not refunding any of your customers is the same thing as closing up and running away with your investors money... it is fraud and can/will be prosecuted with the fullest extent of the law. I hope you can see the distinction here.
Take notice that Ashu mentions that the refunds are required because the customer never recieved their product. I guess the ebook is not the actual product. It is the item you are trying to cycle for that is the real item. HAHAHA

yeah, that totally proves my point...
All of these sites say one thing, but really work the other. Not one person had an argument against that either.

Funny how they automatically say I was twisting their words, but if you read closly, he was responding to the owner of Grab4Cash about why Matrix Agency required him to refund all of that money. I think they are just upset because I started to post there, and use a quote from an agent against them.

Hello Concerned,
We are not upset by your quotes. Your goal and our goal is not the same. Carry on with your topic. :D
